i have these variations:

CD: UK 2005 (London Records NUOCD14) 3:47 Jetstream (radio edit) 7:42 Jetstream (richard x remix)

CD: PRO15390 3:42 Jetstream (radio edit)

The PRO15390 was actually a stamped CDR and not a silver CD5. I was fooled by it at the time but the disc underside is definitely green. I assume you listing the different countries here is to denote international stickers on the sleeve rather than an actual foreign pressing?

There is another London Promo CD-R for Jetstream with the ususal generic white insert ("NEW ORDER" and the track title + time):

CDR: UK 2005 (London Records) [promo] 3:46 Jetstream (Jacques Lu Cont Edit) *

* - Unique edit of the 8:19 original mix.

Are you sure the above isn't:

CD5: UK 2005 (London Records NUOCD14) 3:47 Jetstream (Radio Edit) 3:39 Jetstream (Richard X Remix Edit)

?

I'll have to check, but I think I have 2x12" US on White Label promo as well...

Not that I care about vinyl, but they sent it to me!

Hey Ally! You got this edit?

Can anybody tell me the difference between the Jacques Lu Cont Mix and Jacques Lu Cont 2nd Mix ?

For NUCDP14, substitue 'Ana' Vocal Bridge' (whatever that is) with Original version, ie. the album version.

Oh, also for NUCDP14, the first track is Juques le Cont remix, not the 2nd Jaques le Cont remix.

If memory serves me correctly (must check my own copy), there is a CDR and silver CD5 version of PRO15390 - I'll need to check...

Confirmation of this is appreciated.

So the JP 1tr promo is the UK release with a JP sticker, just like the Krafty equivalent?

I still would like to know the differences between these two, as all the versions I got are the same...

They're identical as far as we know :) The supposed "2nd" remix was released on iTunes and is exactly the same as his mix on the UK CD2.

It was promoted as a Napster DD exclusive although I don't know that it's listed any more. Think it was just the original band mix of Jetstream (ie no Ana involvement), the same mix as per the original album demo.

I'll need to check later but I think the Bunker Mix and the original demo have significantly different timings.

Not strictly true, the 'Ana Vocal Bridge' version is ever-so-slightly-not-that-you'd-notice different, in that she sings one extra line during the "we'll be dimming the lights" bit...

It would be a good idea to mention the official downloads in the discography. Well, at least I would be pleased, as there are more and more official download-only remixes/versions available in this "WWW Era". Some downloads are even harder to obtain than the oldfashion import 12"... For instance the Guilt Is A Useless Emotion 'single', over here the only version released is the album version!
(I guess I have to move to the UK or USA... or open a bankaccount in those countries... )

Doesn't seem to be a standard protocol for how to manage them in other band discographies.

Perhaps only list tracks or collections that are unique (or rare?) to digital download services? ie. If they are also easily found on standard formats, they don't get listed.

Then it is different to the album pre-mix version (without Ana) which is more like 5.05 mins.

Where did you get this mix by the way? Did you actually buy it off Napster?

Yep - off Napster. Just checked the actual 'audible time' and it clocked in at 5.35 min.

Well, just because it is in David's discography, or the Niagara one either for that matter, doesn't mean that it's not a bootleg... The SLY GR promo is genuine, but there is another SLY promo from GR with slightly different sleeve that is under suspicion of being a boot.

I have deliberatly left out this Jetstream promo because I am very suspicious of it. One thing I would like to know is what three DMC megamixes are on there. AFAIK, there has only been one DMC megamix. But I have lost touch with the DJ services since I retired as a DJ...

Just a note on the UK 12" Promo PRO 15401 - The Arhur Baker Acapella mix is listed at 6:21 but is in fact only 5:12.

Just got my copy of this Jetstream promo from Greece. It seems that the reason why there are DMC mixes on there is that Warners commisioned 3 WFTSC album preview megamixes ---1 of which is on this site in the multimedia section ----WFTSC Megamix (5:08)

Looks like its genuine and needs inclusion into the discography.

Good for you it's a genuine one :thumb: What's the tracklisting of this promo again? I saw it also briefly on eBay last week, I thought it was a bootleg. So I'm just curious...

TLV - Sorry about that

Tracks inc and order are the same on all 3 so they seem to have done the New Order thing and edited down the original full length mix to create edited versions.
