Me.

I'm 19 now. I was into JD since maybe 15 or 16 (I got into them and The Cure bigtime sophmore year, more the cure, but still some JD), and got into NO at some point junior year, maybe a couple months after my 17th birthday.

I'm turning 21 in a month, but I've been listening to JD since I was 14 and NO since I was 17. Methanolcereal, what part of New Jersey are you from?

I got into New Order and Joy Division last year at 19, when I first came to college, buying as many records I can from the stores. I first heard LWTUA when I was 17 and Blue Monday at 16, though. Loved the tunes, but not enough to make me a fan just yet.

I guess I fit that description.. I'm 17, and a big New Order fan. my friends don't even know anything by the band..besides "Bizzare Love Triangle"..and the occasional person might know True Faith. anyway yeah, teenage fan here.

also big into the cure, depeche mode, u2 and pearl Jam.

OHH! its also my first post here. Hey i'm andrew. nice to meet everyone.

I'm 21, got into new order a little when i was younger and my sister used to listen to republic and technique in her room, but only really got into them when a mate lent me joy division substance when i was 16 and i realised they were the same band as new order! now im a big big fan, primarily about joy divsion but now perhaps new order more so. Apart from one mate of mine I'm mainly alone in this amongst my friends

I was going to claim I was 19, then I remembered I turned 20 last month...

Been a big JD & NO fan since I was about 17, and there seemed to be quite a lot of young people at the NO gig in Blackpool on Monday- I chaperoned 5 of them, all 18!

Martin, why has your class invaded the boards??

It's a bit of a solitary endeavor among mates, innit? I mean, I've got friends who dig Joy Division, but New Order they never quite got. I think Americans, with their rock and roll history more congested by cockrock than the UK, tend to have a bias against synths, electro and dance music. I certainly did before I got my head 'round NO.

Surely Don qualifies
