The other day there was some questioning in this same Forum about whether Hooky could mix. Sadly this question, as with so many other fundamental questions in life ("who moved my cheese?" springs to mind) shall remain unanswered.
Last Friday Razzmatazz, one of the hippest clubs in Spain proudly presented Peter Hook from New Order DJing. Hook came, was charming and approchable and left all the tiresome mixing and scratching to Mani. The mix itself was quite good, ranging from BLT to the Strokes (although I feel that we could have done without that third rendition of "Fool´s Gold".
I was very, very drunk but I managed to exchange some words with the man himself. I asked him whether they were going to play in Spain to which he answered that "yes, almost certainly" (I think that that was his very roundabout way to say "no", though). He signed my "Recycle" T-shirt, went and there was nought.
