NO @ VIRGIN MEGASTORE - the piccies!!

Hi folks,well I managed to get down,after taking a 2 hour dinner.They didn't come out till 11.30,but they come out on the podium out of the store with Richard Branson. Barney said "you can buy our new album....well not so new now.It's in the bargain bucket!" Queued up for a bit,but it was well worth the wait......and the bastard fixed penalty notice on my car windscreen when I got back! Wished Steve a Happy belated Birthday,and did he have a good one.Asked Barney did he have a good time in Argie,and whispered in his ear (as if he'd tell me) "s it true that you might do a Manc gig before Xmas?"."No mate" I might as well looked on the forum for the answer.Phil was there,and had a bit of a laugh with Hooky. I'm now in proud ownership of a signed Singles poster! Anyway here's the photies.Enjoy!

It's a Sparks cover. So, technically, it did make it. But with someone else.

& from an '82 live airing,Milan Rollingstone,no less.Personally,I think it's quality,something different

It sounds a bit like The Village played backwards in places, no doubt the product of some rehearsal room random button pressing that they then realised sounded like Sparks, and they added the lyrics to it live to break up the repetition! I asked Hooky about this one, his response was that they were just experimenting, because they could!

Me too Ness but it was too risky/costly (like £200 on Branson's Virgin Trains) for me to call in a sickie and head to Manchester. At least we've seen them at some class gigs this year and had a whale of a time @ Blue Saturday and who know's they may do something else like this in the near future.
