Regret

Hi All.

Something I've been meaning to find out for years...is the New Order Mix of Regret the first mix/production of the song i.e. before the final Steven Hague version or was it simply New Order remixing themselves?

The first version was probably done with Pascal Gabriel (note the reference to "pre-production on Regret/Young Offender by Pascal Gabriel" in the sleeve notes).

I think Stephen Hague came in later and changed it enough to get a writing credit and that New Order remix was probably done after the classic mix.

I can't prove any of this though, it's largely supposition.
