I picked up the "60 Miles An Hour Tour EP" at Borders last Sunday for a mere $8.99 U.S. - not bad for an Australian import. I was surprised that they had it at all, and more surprised that their Web site lists it for $12.99. Perhaps the version without the Supermen Lovers remix is four dollars more.
I'm not sure what this says about the whole file sharing controversy, but I bought it anyway, despite the fact that I had downloaded and heard the Supermen Lovers mix. I like to think that Barney can use the royalites to buy a new guitar pick, and it's always cool to have another Saville cover in your home.
Also - seriously now - they had stacks of Geri Halliwell's biography for $5.99. Is it possible to get six bucks worth of enjoyment out of this thing? I was tempted, if only (1) to relive my days in London with "Scream If..." on the hotel telly and (2) to note any parallels in our music careers.
