Bernard Sumner Interview On Gary Davies Show 1991

Does anyone have or remember an interview aired on the Radio 1 Gary Davies show springtime 1991? If I remember correctly it was quite funny and he sounded as if he was fed up with woman expecting him to pay for everything. I'm sure it was connected to Electronics 'Get The Message'.

I remember an interview he did regarding the Electronic project and he was going on about the rave scene, how they got a party at the studio for one of the songs (one after get the message), how Reality was the first song him and Marr did other interesting stories. I had it on tape somewhere, but it must have got wiped:(

Seem to remember it was Simon Mayo's morning show ,not Gary Davies. I recall Simon kept replaying one snippet of Barney saying "it's all about birds nicking your wallet" repeatedly for the rest of the show ,during other songs and stuff.Was quite funny:)

It was around the time Get The Message was released.

Barney and Johnny Marr also did an extensive interview in May 91 with Mark Goodier on his then Radio 1 evening show about the 1st album ,.Was spread over the week's shows i think
