since the neworderweb board has gotten a new moderator and driven out the crap, maybe we should reveal some of the other monikers or code names (whatever they're called. i just can't spell them) that some of us go under. it doesn't even have to be ones we strictly use on new order boards, but any message board or forum.

I've had a browse at some other boards but to be honest nothing else comes close to being as informative and definitive as this one. It seems any remotely interesting NO news is posted up on here in a shot!
Never bother with neworderweb.com as I can't access the messageboard from work - must be something to do with their Meta Tags or summin'. And, frankly, can't be arsed to access it from home.
Post on worldinmotion under my real name - as I know a few other people here do (Shug, Johnny G, PAUL TROWELL) - but the throughput there is fairly slow.
Occasionally post at alt.music.new-order but generally avoid it cos it's seemingly inhabited, in the main, by negative individuals whose musical tastes haven't progressed that much beyond C86. And who, bizarrely, think the Order are 'crap' anyway!

Major Tarantino on this one, neworderweb and Marty's britain board. I'm also "The Cedar Broom" - longest running poster on the Doves message board. We had a brief new order thing on there when get ready came out and all changed our names to new order related one's.
I went from "the cedar broom" to "Fine Pine" 
on ceremony under my real name if non music related ones count go as elegia on bristol rugby club board (& put as much new order stuff on there as possible - had people from other clubs talking about new order onthere too!) & on the popex site have account in name _elegia_ but dont post on the board.
Oh yeah, forgot about Ceremony (it's dead quiet there now, isn't it?). Own name on there too .. .

I did indeed & he was doing great until they revamped it the first time & he went up a couple of classes, then it crashed & I lost interest.
is it back up & running now?
Oh yeah - me...I go under loads of names.!!! 
The NewOrderWeb board - the first forum I posted on in October 2001before finding this fine site a week or two later - has seen me initially post under my wee own name "martin" (lower case as shown), then "david martin", then onto the legendary (no other word) Boppawombat of which spawned innumerable playful puns and variations (CoppaBombast, WoppaCombat, WhottaCoppout... etc etc...)....then a secret variant called BPW Incognito appeared briefly when I stormed off that forum in a huff a couple of months ago.... then I was "Paranoid Android" for a few posts, before reverting back to Boppawombat. Then adopted The Uberlord (which is the moderator name I now go under). Then in December I joined the EzBoard Architecture/Skyscrapers forum where I posted as plain Martin Gray (simple!) before launching my own forum in Feb called Britain Grates where I was EzOp and Moderator under the cool name of Exile On Brit Street - which I now use to post on the Skyscraper AND NewOrder Web forums too....
Other forums I post on include one for Cathal Coughlan (ex-Microdisney and Fatima Mansions man) under the name The Laughing Martian; the 4AD Records official message board under the name !Basher!, and the Euroscrapers Architecture forum under the name Martin G although I'm planning to change that latter one to either Fifty-Nine Storey Neurotic or The Leaning Palace Of Bollocks judging by the tone of some of the posts I've been submitting of late.... ;)
Sorry about this exhaustive list - it's obvious to everyone that I simply have no life whatsoever..... :D

As someone already said - THIS is the place fer the best craic, although I do visit Marty's quite a lot fer a bit of a whinge;)
to be honest, i'd not really ever been one for boards before this one. and this is still the one i pay the most attention to. but i have indeed hopped over to Marty's other two boards as well...but was boring and just decided to go with janni j as my moniker of choice.
now, if we were to talk about mailing lists, 'twould be a much longer list. 'cept none i've been on have ever had to do with the Order, so...yeah. :D
years ago, used to post on alt.fan.twin-peaks and a few other newsgroups as well...i think usually as toriniku or under my real name, as i do here. but it's been so long that i really don't remember anymore!
(and i'll thank Jae Young to not mention the fact that i barely remember yesterday most of the time as it is!

I now know exactly why there was so much animosity when you were there - those two names upset some of the CURE fans who were still posting on that forum too (along with some Depeche Mode ones too) - that is absolutely true you know! Back in October/November there was a Cure fanatic who called herself THE SECRET ASSASSIN - she must have changed her name to a registered one when she posted about the time you arrived - that pissed her off, hence her defensive stance at the time!!!... Oh...these poor poor sensitive souls....

Wasn't last time I looked, which was a real pity. Used to love sorting out which bit of kit to buy ! I had a stable of 24 badgers, who used to race all over the shop. Got impossible keeping up with training schedules though, so abandoned a few and just kept the best ones. Yarbles was the pick of the bunch, won three consecutive races and had a full bore arse and go faster stripes !
i'm margaret and julie on the new orderweb board. i usually use julie doiron or margaret on the "fake matador message board"(matador is my favourite indie record label.) and"where does the rockets find planets" board (which is a cat power board)
Back on Roger Deforest's old Atmos board, I used to be "Trev", "Trev Order" (someone called herself "Jez Division", so I stole the idea from her), and my favorite "True Faith". After the trolls took over, I jumped ship and haven't been back since.
I used to visit Morrissey Solo.com and post under the name PiL (which I also went under over at Atmos, now that I recall), mainly just getting on there to tick them off. Can we all agree that some Mozza fans need to lighten up?
Other than here, I post under my own name at a site created for a few of us Atmos regulars who jumped ship before it sank into Troll-vania. Otherwise, this is it....

(I'm taking drastic action to close all the threads up until I can get more directions from Admin as to how to convert the board to Registered only users - like i told you already there!).

There was this really cool site set up by these students in Somerset that revolved around the world of Badger Racing. Originally it concerned racing black and white striped old bangers through the country lanes, until they saw a real life badger racing ahead of them one night - they were unable to overtake it, so Badger Racing was spawned !
Basically you had 15,000 badger pounds to spend on kit to improve your badger, then raced him/her against other badgers. It was all done on a very dodgy and flawed MySQL database with countless bugs, and eventually the server fell over when the site got popular. They all went off to Uni and that was that. Schade dass......

This is by far the best board that I have seen, and I really appreciate it. Also go by the name Green on a Nick Cave board (green being the color for many things: money, youth, environment, jealousy, etc)
Use ElysianDuck (it's a long story) on a couple of other boards, a football one and one for The Church, which are both EZboards, so I may yet post something on the NewOrderWeb board and Martin's board.
I'm ruby on popbitch.com, but don't really post there as I don't have any celebrity gossip. Apart from seeing the Fizz from Corrie in the pub the other week. ;)
Don't really bother with other New Order sites. Everything I need to know is right here, and this flippin' message board is too damn addictive enough without me needing to get embroiled elsewhere....:)
