I remember seeing that commercial for the first time at the movie theatre before the show started. I also remember saying that was better than the actual music video. :thumb:

I managed to see it while I was in England last October, and I didn't watch tv too much while I was there, so I guess it's pretty common.

As for Jeff, what's with the US? You haves tons of candy bar, but you don't have Mars anymore???

Gee, it's like when an american told me you guys didn't have coffee crisps and he came to canada only to buy those.

On the other hand, you have honey roasted peanut butter, I have to buy one each time I cross the damned border...

The Intro of Blue Monday was also used on an American Express TV ad in UK for their 'Blue' credit card in the UK around 2001/02. However it's not quite as bad as virtually every tune for Moby's Play album being used on TV/Film etc. earlier on in the decade. Cheers!:thumb:

wait a frigging minute...in doing my research, am I to understand that a Mars bar in Europe has no almonds in it???

Snickers have peanuts...biotch...

or at least here in the States...

The Mars Bar went away at the time the snickers with almonds appeared...and OUR Mars Bars had almonds...that's why I used to prefer them over a Snickers...imagine my surprise to find out that what you lot refer to as a Mars bar is nothing more than a glorified Milky Way...

oh well...

Er... there is one with and one without in here... the normal Mars bar (black one) doesn't have almonds, the white one has almonds.

I can't believe I found a website with pictures... !!!

Incredible!

The size of the american bar over the canadian(/british?) just goes to show the average weight difference between the two countries.

If it's like McDonalds... what you call a "large" coke in England is a regular one in Canada and is a small in the USA...

Tells you all there is to know ;)

I bought a regular meal from Burger King yesterday and the coke was far too small.

Do I win £40?
