So I'm attempting to make a CD of some of the best New Order remixes out there. Tracklisting so far?

Joy Division - Love Will Tear Us Apart (Trouser Enthusiasts Edit)Everything's Gone Green (Martin Buttrich Remix)Blue Monday (Hardfloor Radio Edit)586 (Peter Black Edit)Confusion (Koma & Bones Edit)Bizarre Love Triangle (Richard X Remix)True Faith (Perfecto Radio Edit)Touched By The Hand Of God (Biff & Memphis Edit)World (Perfecto Edit)Ruined In A Day (K-Klass Edit)Spooky (Fluke Radio Edit)Crystal (Cybersecrecy Shatterproof Mix)Someone Like You (James Holden Heavy Dub)Here To Stay (Felix Da Housecat - Thee Extended Glitz Mix)Jetstream (Richard X Remix)Guilt Is A Useless Emotion (Morel's Pink Noise Mix)Waiting For The Sirens' Call (Tribute Remix)

I had to make edits of Touched By The Hand Of God and 586 because there were no shorter versions of those two particular mixes made for radio play. And I need edits so I can fit more on a single audio CD. Now, here's where I need you. Does anyone have a radio edit of the above listed remixes for Someone Like You, Here To Stay, Jetstream or GIAUE or the Phones Reality Mix of Krafty? If so, that would help a shitload, saving me the time of personally editing down the mixes. If enough room is left, I may add the fan mix of Thieves Like Us called the Stolen Mix. I could also replace the Tribute Mix of WFTSC with the Jacknife Lee Remix, which is half as long, but the Tribute Mix is so good. It would be a shame to leave it off. Of course, by now many of you have stopped reading. But for those of you who haven't, could you find it in your heart to check your music libraries for those tracks? Thanks, much appreciated.

This just in (because anyone cares): Found Jetstream.

I know you have a time problem but surely FIRE ISLAND remix of REGRET is a MUST!:thumb:

Yeah, and drop that Perfecto mix of World (its shite).

Sadly, I think I'm the only person alive who dislikes the Fire Island Mix. I do love the New Order Mix though, but it's not dancy enough to make the CD flow, so I just left Regret out.

I like the Biff & Memphis mix of Touched, but doesn't it seem like it has no bass?

Can I get a copy of the CD once done (pretty please)?

Was the Trouser Enthusiast's remix of 'Love will tear us apart' released commercially? I'd love to hear that.

That sounds like one killer mix, Razed! :thumb:

Still no luck helping me out eh? Oh well, I'm nearly done editing them down myself. But still, if anyone can help me out..?

You wanna get the 12" of Run2 on there. Its got a nice beat to it.

Nah.. Logan. The choices do look good. As an idea might OUT OF CONTROL- CHEMICAL BROS. Fit the style just after BLUE MONDAY. Then maybe slip YSF- KW1. Right towards the close. P' haps second from the end. Is there time left :thumb: for example DOUBTS EVEN HERE or another JD tune. Does that work.

It's about 1000 times better than the original!

Actually no, it was ordered but never released... I think it was done for the 1995 re-release.

You can find it on some obscure eastern-europe compilations I believe.

Very nice. I've edited down the 586 remix to 4:44, too bad I didn't already know an edit existed. ;) You should secretly send me P.S. Sountrack edit and Paradise edit (doubtseventhere@hotmail.com).

Secretly. ;)

lmao Booooooo!! That's one brutal mix. Rock The Shack even feels refreshing after that one. But of course, we can all agree it's no BLT mix from (the rest of)! That was perfection. :P

Agreed. Of course, the edit starts off fairly harsh, but it still kicks the original square in the ass.

Where'd you find this one? Wouldn't mind hearing it, seeing as every Krafty remix I've heard (other than Phones Reality) sounds pretty similar to the album version.

I am actually working on a Doubts Even Here remix believe it or not. If it turns out ok, I'll probably throw it on the mix. Wish me luck.:thumb:

Well, Morel's remix is on the US single.

Just found it in Soulseek. I guess the single I bought must have been an import from the UK then.

If you've got an edit of Soundtrack I'd love to have it for one of my New Order volumes. I've got the track listing for Vol. 3 put together, just haven't had any free time to assemble it.

Ok, I've finished Doubts Even Here (Razed Club Mix). It'll be on the final CD. :)

It indeedly is the same one, clocking at 4:30. I was editing it back in 2003, shortly after it was released. Then I packed it on a homemeade compo called 'Unknown Treasures' and sent it out to a few people around the world. It never was downloadable anywhere. Good enough to put it onto a 'Single Versions' Compilation.

Can't wait to hear it! CJB edit of 'Soundtrack' means my full personal name, suggested by musicoloog, when he made a video of it.
