The footage(youtube) of New Order on John Peel Day is absolutely fantastic. Warsaw was unbelievable. For those who criticize No when they perform JD tunes watch this and i bet you change your mind.
For those who attended, share your thoughts about this gig.
One of the best gigs I've been to.
An old lady had to help me to my seat.
I watch the DVD all the time - brilliant.
Superb gig - that was where I damaged my glasses for being in the moshpit - must get them fixed at some point! 
Just an amazing night, unforgettable, and possibly because it was so short and sweet the impact was much greater than when they did something similar at Wembley for the start of the set.
Surprisingly my memories are a bit hazy, far too much bevvy was consumed. The pre-gig pish up was fookin great, loads of us out and I seem to remember a very drunken Dutch lad Marko falling asleep outside the pub and Rocket Mick helping him to the gig. We made it with minutes to spare, dived about like mad eedjits, though didnae make it down to the front with loads of the other Vikings. Only 900 people there and a JD only set including Warsaw. Fucking great craic and even more amusing seeing the mosh pit right in front of the band, so close Barney got skelped by his mic stand

for those who don't visit the ceremony forum much - I'm assuming this is what has prompted jzee's post.
I thought, despite the anachronism, this revisited the best of NO - not necessarily in terms of performance though they were really enjoyable. more for the bacon sandwich dropping moment of the idiosyncratic setlist that showed they could still surprise us. listen to the exclamations at the beginning of 'shadowplay'!
It was truly a fantastic night, as I said previously on the best/worst gig thread, it was the first time since the 80's when I had been truly gobsmacked by the set list.
and lets not forget it was for Peely!
I'll go along with Colin and agree that it was one of the best gigs i saw. Even I got a buzz out of the set list. I stand by what I said then that it should've been a one off.
Great day out though. The Mulberry was is a cracking pub. I met Feargal Sharkey as well.
Absolutely fantastic gig. This was my first after glastonbury (which is defiately the worst gig I attended, no atmosphere at the front, world in motion with a pantomine horse on stage, could it get any worse!!) Then the john peel gig.
Amazing. Intimate venue. Crazy at the front (and practically on stage!) It was just a special gig. Even shook Barney's hand on stage. It was that close!!
I would love to get a dvd if anyone's got one out there!

I've just taken the [ahem] liberty of offering it up on the weeding forum for the five people that still bother looking there. Always thought it was worthy of a Dimeadozen torrent, but when I got it I was told to keep it to myself! With your permission, Will, maybe a more widespread torrent is on the cards.
It's honestly one of my most prozed possessions. ALWAYS comes out when there's people back here after the pub.
My copy is unique 'cos I got cover art done by a proper graphic designer an orl...
The dvd is a cracker, I really regret not bothering to go, I feel I've missed out on something pretty special :\ohwell:

It was a fantastic night. I was so excited all that day, felt like I had a belly full of butterflies
It also was the first time I met some of the peeps from here in the pub before

i told him that i thought that petrol emotion were great & then had my picture taken with him

Brilliant gig. Everything I'd say about it has been said before. My only regret was getting too pished and having no recollection of getting from the pub to the venue. And I got fuckin soaked to my skin trying to find that boozer.
