i think they're hideous. the colour scheme doesn't do it for me, even though they are the hacienda's colours.

Jack, can you lend me yours??

cause thinking of it....345 pounds is too much for me

Anyone who is dumb enough to fork out £345 on a pair of trainers actually deserves to be ripped off. I'd have thought better of Hooky.

Oh, I have a legit set of Martin Hannett desk pots if anyone wants them. Only £500...

They are cool (though the yellow colour could be of a bit different tone) but the price sucks big time. It's $ 600! If I bought them I'd never dare to wear them. Actually a good birthday gift for someone.

They are not people's designers and don't give a damn about simple good men! That's a pity.

Not unexpected pricing for this sort of highly exclusive LE artist collab.

And not a bad design considering they're unlikely to have to co-ordinate with your jeans or actually taste the pavement! They'll live in showcases of Factory fans and sneakerheads the world over. Minty mint.

They look like someone got too excited in a sweetie factory... :nono:

A reasonable attempt at some 'Hacienda' shoes but personally I'm not too keen on them and the price tag! Still as they're collectors items expect the £345 price tag to double in a few years, cheers!:thumb:

Bit personal seeing as we've never met.

I wont be buying them, yeah i buy lots of trainers but,

  1. i already own several pairs of Yohji Yamamoto trainers.

  2. They're SILVER. I wouldn't wear them, so no. Pity because they could have been black and much more viable!

nice item. worth buying as an investment. Ian Brown Superstars go for £200 these days.

I can only accept these shoes as a gift. I don't expect to spend a fortune on them. I reckon these guys are being elitist and that's not good. The main essence - music - was for the masses.

Whatever happened to these?

New Balance Joy Division trainers

Think he was the same designer as the Joy Division Nike Blazer highs. Neither trainer was officially commissioned.

I used to go out with a guy that would probably have bought the New Balance Joy Division ones, he would only buy trainers if he liked the pattern on the sole

what ever happened to the "giving something back to the kids" mentality, for all his problems I can't help but think that TW would have sold these for a tenner, fuck the loss, you can't put a price on art.

Saw these at the Hacineda thing in Madchester they look really good in the flesh the picture doesn't do them jusitce, although the black Y-3 ones are far better, and half the price

They're not much more expensive than normal Y-3 trainers.

Saw them in a shop in Holland last week - hadn't realised how much they cost.

Ian Brown was wearing a pair at the Urbis opening. They're quite... eye-catching.

I've got a better idea...I'll doctor my Dunlop Silver Shadow 2's with a bit of black and yellow masking tape and put 'em on E-Bay.....err well it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Must have been a pricey shop in Holland then.

Or maybe there was something in that brownie :blackeye:
