I saw Control last Friday at the Auckland film festival. I have to say it was very well done, an excellent film... although the ending was a bit predictable - the singer kills himself. You could see that one coming a mile off.

There was one bit I found very disturbing. Curtis had been carried off stage after having a fit and was lying on a couch in the dressing room. Gretton comes over and says "don't worry, things could be worse - you could be the singer in The Fall". Mortified, I was.
