Just back from seeing the band in Camden. Same set as ealier in the year, but what a set it is!!
Got a signed (by Don Johnson) hand-written set but can't be arsed to scan it. . .
And gave a Vikings badge to Diane - NO's (and ACR's) sound woman - who said "Ooh, I've seen one of these before" and when I asked if it was Andy Liddle who showed her the badge, she said "No, it was Roger Lyons," .. so .. the reputation of The Vikings in spreadin' faaaar and wide...
How's Paula feeling now? was she slightly pished last night? ACR were excellent.
Tania, Mickey Way & meself stopped on for about an hour after you left. Chatting with a geezer who saw 60 UK Order gigs on the spin between 1981 & 84, including Aberdeen.
He promoted their gigs in Bedford & Leicester then went onto set up his own record label which folded in '85. He seemed to know everyone & anyone, went to Rob Gretton's funeral, Hooky phoned him up the other week etc...
Made me feel like a bit of a part timer.
