Funny really i was at Loch Lomond festival yesterday(report to follow) with clint boon he was djin in the hacienda tent(the only one with steam comin out of it by the way) we were talkin as you do about the SPLIT! seein as how it was on his show it got out! and he said"eeh by gum brother? how come they said they didnt know what thee were sayin(he doesnt talk like this actually its for dramatic effect) about the SPLIT! when ye were tigither at Cannes fort film primiere?

Now that is a good point! their way of dealing with it at cannes was to tell the journalists to ASK HOOKY? the main reason i split from prime management was i thought if thats how its gonna be handled im not in agreement with it and im Split from you too.

He wants to get some money, if they others want to continue as New Order. But it could end, that the others get money from him for using "New Order" for promoting his DJ-Sets.

in that case Barney, Steve and Phil could get some money too, cause hooky plays New Order songs in his DJ sets

There's no problem in playing New Order songs in his sets, any DJ in the world can do that (or else £50poundnote and even myself would also have trouble). The problem would be using the name "New Order" to promote his DJ set.

Even so, I don't think that he would have any legal problem. Any smart lawyer could say that it is the bookers or festival producers who use the name "Peter Hook New Order" in the flyers and save his ass.

Someone should sue the people that made the poster for Drummonds last night.

Despite the fact that Clint is from sunny Oldham?

Saddleworth used to be in Yorkshire but is now part of Oldham so there is a bit of blurring in that part of the world just like there is with sheep and humans there.
