I used to have a truly revolting one from the October 86 UK tour.Mercifully i have no pics of it

Summer 87 tour tee wasn't bad

One of my all time faves is the Summer 84 sci fi one.Did once own one but long since perished

That was the only good one ever. Lost it at Heaton Park

I owned (in order)

  1. The one that came free with the VHS of Substance 1989 (only if you bought it in Virgin on realease day)

  2. World In Motion. (with "Express Yourself" written down the sleeve).

  3. The "Balearic Beats" one in long-sleeve. Looked a bit like something Gong or Ozric Tentacles would produce with that big eyeball and the dodgy font.

Pat Nevin wore what he claimed to be an original "Ceremony" t-shirt when he did a spot in Bloc back in March. Personally I think anyone over the age of 18 who wears a band t-shirt needs a check-up from the neck up.

lol - you had a world in motion one?

was your scotch passport confiscated for a bit?

Reading 93 Bar code or the Gmex gig with ACR & The Mondays.

I really regret getting rid or decorating in (!!!) the fine time and round & round t shirts.

Does anyone remember these or have a picture of them.

The finetime one just had a pill on the front and Round & Round had a massive "&" on.

Cuddles, what on earth is that polo shirt with New Order on it? Never seen that one before.

Classiest one I've ever seen is the zip neck black top made available for, I think, the Wembley 88 gig?!

(As still worn by Welshcake years on, but with a Bundeswehr badge added for effect! )

Do you mean the Gmex88 gig? I got one at the NEC in 89 with a six foot cherub poster. Both now mislaid.:(

we nearly didn't get in, sampled some Glaswegian hospitality in a tiny bar nearby and the doors were closed when we got to SECC

same thing happened at Barrowlands a few years back in that Celtic Bar, so famous I can't remember its name. We got invited back after the gig and a full Indian take away was delivered for everyone

I've got a Toto Apricot tee-shirt. I'm wearing it right now.

Do I win £40?

I bought one of the 6 foot Technique posters from Afflecks palace at the time.

I've still got it but it's RAGGED. A combination of multiple drawing pin wounds and Panini football stickers stuck on by me younger brother!!!

It's the same as when you see the Fine Time posters on ebay selling for £70. You could get them for £3.99 each at the time!

They have NewOrderTechnique on I think, still got mine upstairs, I bought it at NEC 1989.

PS Wembley was 1987.

Absoultely love the cubist 87 design in both black and white, and the USA Technique ones look great - much better than the Blue Cat version.

Can't we petition Blue Cat to reissue these fuckers? They cost fuck all to do, and you'd put a big mark up to, say £15.

I'd buy them.

G-Mex '88 Fave, long gone. HMV did stock them for awhile, wish I'd bought a replacement!

Still got my black NEC '89 but it's covered in paint :(

Oh yeah, also had a bright pink USA '89 t shirt but was way too chicken to wear it outdoors! Only ever wore it in bed.

I've never bought a T shirt at a concert as they're always too expensive. However, I bought three shirts at NOOL day :banghead: My favourite T shirt was a promotional Substance one I was given by a rep when I worked at a record shop (not Virgin!)

Still got it somewhere, sitting next to an Academy shirt probably!

I only ever bought the Green & White 84 tour dates and the State of the Nation tour dates ones at the time, but have since managed to part with too much cash for quite a few others. And subsequently lost sufficient weight to make most of them look like tents on me!

(have a few Digital shirts going ultra cheap if anyone wants one for old times sake!)

used to have over thirty no t-shirts from balearic beats to fac off,usa89 ? in macho pink? to r&r in purple and the green one, all i wore everyday thinking i was the coolest dude in wigan ( not exactly hard in the 80's 90's )best ever was the summer 87 which came accross the same fate as all the others, fade then holes appear and before you know it your mother is polishing the bloody mantlepiece with them, started buying some again but quality is fooking shocking, 3rd wash and collar size has doubled, and you resemble a tart in a crop top:eek3:

However you could say the same about me with my collection of N.O artefacts,i mean who really wants an Isreali promo of Get ready?
