Hello Newbie
Good question,we've never thought of this one...gimme some more time to think abit..
Ever? That would be "Technique."
At the moment? That would be "Low-Life"--with the exception of the not-quite-well-edited TPK.
The everlasting rotation between Closer, PCL, and Technique...although PCL has received the most plays in the last year; bit of revival for the first New Order record I got.
Burning Blue Soul by Matt Johnson.
Not heard it for years, actually. But it's still my favourite album.
Unless the sun's out, then it's Technique

If you add in JD, it gets tougher. There are individual songs on Closer I like better, but overall album is UP.

'favorite album' is a terribly static concept and seems to be a pretty limiting idea.
numbering the preference of one's music seems equally asinine.
one's 'favorite album' should change on a daily or perhaps hourly basis, it seems to me, considering just how much amazing and brilliant music there is in this universe.
why do we need to put just one in a box???
why do we need a listing?
i always hope that i will walk out my door and everything will change, and all my lists will be shot to hell.
but maybe lists and number ones are comforting to you????

Cabaret Voltaire did The Seeds' 'No Escape' on the first Factory Video (can't remember the FAC number). It's the one with Crispy Ambulance 'The Presence', Stockholm Monsters, Kevin Hewick, SXXV with lots of sheep, and ACR running about in an empty house with long overcoats on. Classic stuff!

Interesting! Didn't know that, never seen that video. Have to look it up then...... Fantastic tune though, "No Escape"!
