I'm just saying in general--it could go on anywhere, somewhere in the world. Missy might not be the only Hooky fan having issues with Barney fans.

Saying from experience, I know two people in my neighborhood that are at each other's throats because of the whole New Order fall-out and, not surprisingly, one's a Hooky fan and the other's a Barney fan. And yes, the Hooky fan likes to read Hooky's blog. She doesn't post comments though. But anyway, back to the catfighters. Thankfully I don't step in their quarreling, mostly because the last thing I want to do is cussed out by either one!!

The only time they realize I've been around them is after I've left the area they're in.

Not really. We'd usually plan to hang out somewhere, and then when we all meet up it's alright. Until one of them says something, er, highly unintelligently. Then a catfight ensues; within two minutes I'm about to step away from them. Give it time, five minutes pass and I get a text from one of them, "Where the fcuk did you go, Jenn!?" [More often than note I've ignored the texts lately.]

And of course, the argument can range from Barney WHOOPing too much to Hooky not turning his bass down. And that's just the minor arguments!!

I don't post here very often. At times it doesn't seem to be the friendliest of places. I don't know what caused Missy's frustration with Barney fans. (Being a Barney and a Hooky fan, I don't see why anyone needs to choose.) I DO know that I was very saddened after I read this thread. I don't think it is ever necessary to publically humiliate someone. Missy is a human being with feelings, for God's sake! Is this how we really want to represent and support New Order?

agreed. sometimes its really "not" friendliest of places. if you think that she (missy) is annoying, just ignore her.
