If I remember correctly, there was an article in a computer music magazine back in 1986 when Barney was interviewed about the use of Emulator & other keyboards where he talks about "Confusion" and mentioned the following; "W - W - W.R.L." was taken from a radio station ident Hooky heard when the band were in the States (NYC). You see one of the band wearing a W.R.L. badge in some group photos. If my memory serves me correctly, "W.R.L." was (is?) a Hip-Hop station.
"What a day" - the words at the end of the track are looped and delayed - Is this what you were asking about?
