Turn for me!

Run by a country mile for me. Beautiful lush arrangement. Turn is too bland, and lyrics are a lot better for RUN. Still don't see the fuss over TURN and def. prefer the title track WFTSC.

Have to disagree with you on that, run has no real variety in it, it plods along, yeah the lyrics are good, but it just doesn't go anywhere, I'll agree that WFTSC is maybe better then turn (or maybe not that's very close) but both are better than run.

Im more attached and appreciative of Run as I personally feel Technique is New Orders finest album.

Turn is a fine song but I find the album harder to listen too. Plus I dont rate WFTSC as a song. Maybe its just me.

Turn - by two European kilometres.

I vote for Run, simply because it meshes so well with the other technique tracks. Turn is equally beautiful, but it sounds rushed to me for some reason...

Run has so much more emotion, and is a better track anyway.

Man you guys must have a better understanding of NO than me, because I think none of the songs from the last two albums compare that well to the 80s stuff.

Run run run

Yeah, albums from the '80s were much better, but as a song, "Turn" is very good. I still vote for "Run" though because it's one my favourite songs.

Turn as it isn't a cover version like Run is.

I prefer to hear Turn by Glasnost rather than N.O these days.

i prefer the 12" cover of Turn because it's more in keeping with Factory's minimalist approach.

"Run"... One of my favorites...

Run for me, by far. Run is one of my favourite NO tunes, Tunr one of my least favourite.

hasn't technique dated badly?

anyway, turn for me.

When I first purchased Technique I thought 'Run' was the worst track on the album, however through the course of 19 years( My god is it that long ago!!!) the song has grew and grew on me.

'Turn' for me is classic NO and from the first play to the present day it brings me great pleasure on hearing it (It is in my top 5 NO songs, however I really had to think about this one..eventually plumping for 'Turn'.

I wouldnt say it has dated badly. I find movement to be the only record that dates badly.

Nah mate, Brotherhood is worse... though I still love it.
