What's Bernard up to lately?

Does anyone know if Bernard has anything new coming out, either producer-wise or vocalist-wise? Bad Lieutenant dead?

Bad leutenant (STUPID STUPID NAME!) appears thusfar to be vapourware.

I'm sure he's writing "dance pop" songs, on his yacht, by Ibiza. If not, then one can assume he's going to go "Dave Gahan" and go solo.

Maybe I'm cynical, but how many people really expect Bad Lt. to really bear fruition? I'm almost scared to hear it if a CD is released, curious maybe but would not expect anything equal to his past history.

Barney was not inspired much it seems in New Order anymore, not in a creative way. Barney doesn't look forward to playing live as it is, would he do it for less money in a new band, doubtful. Maybe Barney can be like Mark E. Smith and just hire some young guys to write some lyrics with, but does he have the inspiration? Hopefully he is happily married and doesn't need the money...

Apparently the spammer seems to have confused Nike with New Order or something, or maybe even New Balance.

Anyway, I don't think Bernard has actually outright said that he will quit making music, so I have hopes that something in some form will be released.

Whatever people think , he is definately up to something, he is not gonna waste his voice and talent like that, just wait and you will see. remember the blank and jones song he did, no one even knew that he was working on it, he does everything in secret and then it comes out, I heard from one of the guys from Rambo & leroy that the Bad litunant is coming out early in the year around march and he also has a song on their album also, also the lesfover songs from the WFTSc are gonna come out this year , so don't worry and be patient.

With that superstar talent rate, we can have an album by march. Perhaps Toast Hawaii will ressurect, since Fletcher seems to be favored by some Deity, and has yet to be tossed from the band. My bet is Bernard is going to host a gameshow. "Thieves like us".

I have lived locally to Hooky and Bernard for the last 2 years. Hooky is seen fairly regulaly shopping etc but I have never seen Bernard in 2 years even though he lives about a mile from me?

hmmm, and you couldn't candidly get digi pix of them two? very odd indeed.

Not sure candid would work with Hooky if he caught me but I'm sure he would oblige if I asked when he wasn't with the family.

As for Bernard, like I say I have never seen him, however at a party at christmas someone said if you are in the village on a Saturday at 8am that's when Bernard goes to the Butchers??

Yes AE is the place and I thought I saw him in a white bentley the other day but not sure!
