funny, i always thought it was cut out of time like that on purpose, parodying lip syncing or something.... i mean, it was SO off, it had to be intentional....
Went on the FeeBayUK link on that site and discovered there's some kit as used by JD/NO during the Closer/Movement years(not saying these specific items were OWNED by the band, natch)namely the ARP Omni 2 and Powertran Transcendant 2000 synths(I also seem to recollect from past reading that the Powertran was basically a kit-built Moog clone that Barney put together as a more affordable alternative to the real thing).
