When we started NOOL in 2000 (as "Temptation") the aim was to provide New Order fans with as much as we could. I think we've managed that and a huge thanks to Nic and Seb. so, "Hey Joe, Quit your complaining" etc.
I could have spent my time more productively this evening, but I recorded and edited this erm... recording... instead.
Anyway, here's the complete download - interviews and tracks for anyone who wants it and a thanks to Clive for the tracks edit:

-SOS sounds well. it might have even more power but still good. -SLTS puzzles me. i like that they took away that melodica (too Love Vigilantes for my taste) but Evans' voice... i thought he'd sing a lot better than he does. because Barney kept telling everyone how talented this guy was. and i still don't know why he said that. so far pretty average for me as songwriter, player and singer! -on TOF my fears became true. when i first heard it i thought it was the best song (i still do). but i was afraid of Barney's vocals when they went live because i thought they were too high for him, considering the comfortable range he used for the past +15 years. he must decide if he wants to sing it well he might break his voice as he used to, because that falsetto just sounds bad!

Jeezus, I still think it's a bit MOR, innit? Thought Twist of Fate would rock-out faaaaar more than this does, but maybe it's down to the flat production?
Glad to see Barney still can't sing. And it seems the new lad can't either. Excellent stuff! 
I'm a little happier about what we're going to get at Brighton now. I was dreading walking in and finding three barstools and no amplifiers on stage...

He definately whooped on sink or swim:) Enjoyed the interview and banter, Barney seems relaxed. Also enjoyed the tracks although Barney voice did struggle a bit on Twist of fate.
Yeah, great banter (although Barneys really bad for remembering names and places
). The music sounded solid, with some excellent guitar work but all the vocals were a bit hit n miss (no change there!).
Good news re Sirens sessions Barney seemed to want them to come out once stuff has been sorted out behind the scenes. SO THERE WILL BE ANOTHER NEW ORDER RECORD
I thought all three songs sounded pretty good! Barney's vocals were slightly messy sometimes but thats nothing new. Perhaps it was nerves as well.
I heard some keyboards on Twist of Fate! They were low...but they were there!
Sink or Swim sounded excellent with Steve's drumming! His drumming is miles better than who ever does it on the album...much, much tighter and with all sorts of little rhythmic nuances. I wish Steve could have drummed on the whole record.

thanks for putting this together. I haven't listened to a physical copy of SOS, but I'm really pleased to hear it with a bit more bass, it doesn't sound half as C86 as I first thought it sounded.
Unlike a lot of people on the forum I haven't heard the album, but I thought Jake was really awful, and I completely agree with comparisons to Noel. I was hoping he'd sing with some of Jimi from Doves emotion as some had described but I couldn't hear that at all.
Twist of Fate wasn't bad at all, and I think its quality is enough to make me buy the new album, of which I had been wavering.

Thank you a lot for that, Chris. Sorry if my bad english made you think that I was complaining about it. I was not!!! It was an attempt to do a friendly commentary. I visit this site everyday, in the last years, and I love it. Sorry one more time. And thanks again for the interviews and songs.

Listened to it last night, and did cringe a bit at the vocals (both of them) but that's not gonna put me off.

With these ADHD-BBC-presenters around I am surprised he managed to sing anything at all.

Thanks to you both for putting these up.
I think Barney does a fine job of singing. Much better than I expected.
I do like that Shine Like the Sun. It's a nice tune. Twist of Fate is very good too and I like the 'it's incredibly wrong' line.
There aren't enough words of more than three syllables in pop songs. I applaud them for that.

Thanks looking forward to hearing this! The album is definitely growing on me, and the clips for the bonus tracks sound interesting. Hopefully when their set list will highlight the best BL tracks.
I thought it was a bit rough on the old ears and I was one of the first advocates of the album when it broke a few weeks back. The album is still on me Ipod and one is really looking forward to the London date, hope they have a few more rehearsals first though, otherwise I'll be on a barstool with Jarvo and OB
