Pet Shop Boys are very proud to announce that Bad Lieutenant will be performing as very special guests on the Christmas UK dates of their “Pandemonium” tour.
The UK dates are:
December 17: Glasgow SECC
December 18: Birmingham NIA
December 20: Manchester Evening News Arena
December 21: London O2 Arena
Tickets are priced £30. (All tickets subject to booking fee.)
The scale and set list of Pet Shop Boys' stage production will be increased for all winter dates.

Because they hadn't had any opportunity to rehearse it. You can kinda seee the same situation here. Hope I'm wrong.

- went there with a couple of friends the last time I was up in Manc (it was their type of place) - a bizarre street!
Anyway, yup, am definitely considering Manc (it's possible as I can catch an early train back on the Monday morning and working from home that week anyway - it being Christmas week)! :p

I saw Tennant do Disappointed with Electronic at the Wembley Exhibition Hall gig, December 1991.Actually that would have been a good 6 months or so before it came out as a single so maybe my memory's got that wrong :scratchead: Maybe it Was Patience Of A Saint. Can't recall if they did Getting Away With It or not. I do remember it being a freezing cold night though.

Aye, Bernard coming on to do Getting Away With with Tennant as part of the PSB encore is possible.Although that would be an Electronic song in a PSB concert encore. So probably not then!

Obviously not the same league as PSB, but Weddoes bassist Terry De Castro played a full set with the support, Astrid Williamson. Also Interpol's drummer joined the support act for the last song at Ally Pally.
Anyway, look no further than Will - regularly being Bernard Sumner and Craig Gannon on the same night!

I went to that gig. Both Neil Tennent and Chris Lowe joined Electronic on stage to perform GAWI, Patience of a Saint and Disappointed. Think Barney introduced it as the new single.

This is going to be a fantastic gig.PSB were amazing as usual last Summer at the Apollo.

Who was at Birmingham NIA last night? Got to the front and BL were bloody fantastic! Barney is right on it - much better than the tired final run of NO gigs. BUT .... were me & my missus the only NO/BL fans in the f-----g room? I was banging it and got a mix of bemused (and sometimes dirty) looks from the PSB brigade most of whom stood dead still and bored looking throughout BL. PSB was fun but a comedown after Barney & BL. What is motivating Barney & co to do support slots like this? They should be headlining. And no PSB/BL collaboration. In the encore Neil Tennant said "and now for something special ...." and then played a Madness cover .... Ho hum. Thanks for a great night BL.
No, I was there as well. Got down as close to the front as possible, about 5 or 6 people from the stage. Only got there when they were playing Sink or Swim.
Brilliant gig. I was surprised by the amount of NO songs they played. The setlist was something like:
- Sink or Swim;
- Summer Days;
- Bizarre love triangle;
- This is Home;
- Crystal;
- Out of Control;
- Temptation;
- Love Will Tear Us Apart;
What have I forgotten?
I was also amazed that the PSB Fans where pretty ambivalent and didn't seem to know who they were even when they played LWTUA! But then I left as soon as BL had finished.
I wasn't there, but if you go to PSB's official Twitter page and read their tweets (you don't need to be registered to read them) it seems that PSB themselves are pretty enthusiastic about BL supporting them.

May as well go to see a good covers band.
Such expectations from the usual moaner crowd it has to be said.
These are support slots at the end of the day so I'm not sure what people were expecting. A 20 song set followed by a 5 song encore? We were lucky in Paris that BL managed to perform a slightly longer set but obviously on the PSB tour they're more limited with time.
The set list looks pretty solid to me, a good mixture of Bernard related tracks.
The Out of Control/Temptation segue is brilliant

Of course I would but I'd rather see the original I usually did a few years ago called New Order. I also didn't forget that BL is a "New Order three-piece" anyway.

It was a great night meeting Missy Jem, Nick, Monty, Liam and a few others, shame I only had seating tickets, gutted they never played Twist Of Fate or Poisonous Intent, whats that all about!? No special Getting Away With It either, ideal opportunity on its 20th anniversary! Nevermind I still had a great time, even stook around for the Pet Shop Boys who put on a good show.

I was sitting left of stage in the fcuking GODS and i suffer from VERTIGO.I watched the lights to the RIGHT of the stage and all where WHITE.My mate SHACK who is NOT BLUE/GreeN colourBLINd like me says the LIGHT shone directly on BARNEY did change the relevant COLoURS the First time he sang Green...blue ...GREy eyes.But he had been staying at my pad since Thursday so could have been IN SHocK!

Totally agree, bunch of boring and miserable gits. The type of fan who stand in a moshpit getting narky when it livens up. It's the second time I've had words with people at a gig.

The MCR gig with PSB was much better than the Berlin one. The atmosphere was better, because it was darker. The PSB-Fans in MCR was really nice in comparison to the Berliners with their big mouths.

The tempo, drum programming, and bass programming during the first verse are different from the version NO has been playing since 2001. After the first verse, it reverts to the NO version.
