No, I was there as well. Got down as close to the front as possible, about 5 or 6 people from the stage. Only got there when they were playing Sink or Swim.

Brilliant gig. I was surprised by the amount of NO songs they played. The setlist was something like:

Sink or Swim;
Summer Days;
Bizarre love triangle;
This is Home;
Crystal;
Out of Control;
Temptation;
Love Will Tear Us Apart;

What have I forgotten?

I was also amazed that the PSB Fans where pretty ambivalent and didn't seem to know who they were even when they played LWTUA! But then I left as soon as BL had finished.

I wasn't there, but if you go to PSB's official Twitter page and read their tweets (you don't need to be registered to read them) it seems that PSB themselves are pretty enthusiastic about BL supporting them.

It seems to be more like a cover band than new one :shrug:

Have even BL now decided that their own tracks simply aren't good enough?

Only four out of nine???

May as well go to see a good covers band.

Such expectations :laugh: from the usual moaner crowd it has to be said.

These are support slots at the end of the day so I'm not sure what people were expecting. A 20 song set followed by a 5 song encore? We were lucky in Paris that BL managed to perform a slightly longer set but obviously on the PSB tour they're more limited with time.

The set list looks pretty solid to me, a good mixture of Bernard related tracks.

The Out of Control/Temptation segue is brilliant :nod:

4 songs out of,, 9 from the first album ,,cool, personnaly i would have all 15 .. but then again,,,,you need to understand the singer wants you all to sing along,, with his 30 year career,,,.

Important information from Rocket Mick, who is at the Manchester gig. They didn't do the blue, green, white light thing during Temptation!

BL is becoming New Order slowly. Same setlist for instance. Think Hooky is coming back after a short holiday :rolleyes:

Of course I would but I'd rather see the original I usually did a few years ago called New Order. I also didn't forget that BL is a "New Order three-piece" anyway.

They were awesome,ok they didn't play their own stuff as much,but balls.Great move,you're at a popular PSB gig with BAD LIEUTENANT on big screens,playing NEW ORDER,JD,CHEMICAL BROS...exposure to everyone who thought NO disbanded in...err...1990's.

As PSB are quite Dancy hopefuly Bad Loo will be too. I have my tix for tonight and for once ill be ata gig to see the support. Can relocated to further back once the PSBs are on.

It was a great night meeting Missy Jem, Nick, Monty, Liam and a few others, shame I only had seating tickets, gutted they never played Twist Of Fate or Poisonous Intent, whats that all about!? No special Getting Away With It either, ideal opportunity on its 20th anniversary! Nevermind I still had a great time, even stook around for the Pet Shop Boys who put on a good show.

UPDATE.... I was sitting left of stage in the fcuking GODS and i suffer from VERTIGO.I watched the lights to the RIGHT of the stage and all where WHITE.My mate SHACK who is NOT BLUE/GreeN colourBLINd like me says the LIGHT shone directly on BARNEY did change the relevant COLoURS the First time he sang Green...blue ...GREy eyes.But he had been staying at my pad since Thursday so could have been IN SHocK! :blackeye: BLOCK 202.....btw i could clearly make out Leggy D downstairs...and NOrman CHAV.:p

Totally agree, bunch of boring and miserable gits. The type of fan who stand in a moshpit getting narky when it livens up. It's the second time I've had words with people at a gig.

I thought PSB were better last night than a few months ago.

Has any photo or video from these gigs popped up yet? I mean during BL's set, obviously.

Did they do the acoustic version of BLT, it was it some sort of full band version?

Found a clip of it on Youtube! Steve's on synths....sounds a bit different from the version New Order have been playing since 2001. Sounds good though!
