Our local paper (Wilmslow Express) has an article in about a possible Joy Division week in June which will take place in Macclesfield. It says it's 70/30 likely to go ahead and they need another 40K of funding to take the total available to 200K!
Details are a closely guarded secret and they hope to have more news in the coming weeks? Speculation is that 6 t0 8 weeks of events are planned to mark Ian's death and the release of Love Will Tear Us Apart.

On the bright side,Hooky and friends are performing on 18th May a Joy Division set...possibly at FAC 251! And he's promised to play PICTURES again!
Yes - there is a full page in this weeks express inc interview with Peter where he confirms he will play pictures at an evening of Joy Division and NO songs - the gig will be at his new club, sounds good!
