I vividly remember seeing a full size billboard poster in 1987 for Substance in Manchester at the top of Miller Street where it meets Rochdale Road (near Victoria Station).
I remember clearly that at the bottom it said in smaller sized font something along the lines of "sorry, Factory don't believe in advertising, but we've got to make a living".
It was the first time I'd come across the Factory ethos, and it resonated with me. It started my love affair with NO, Factory, and Wilson.
Anyway, does anyone else remember it, and more importantly does anyone know of a picture of it in a book or on a website?
