Gotta say the reactions by Haslam etc are just slightly over the top.

What would be the point of buying that plot if not for the name 'Hacienda'. The name alone must increase the value by a decent whack.

It would be tantamount to commercial suicide to NOT use the name, surely?

Only Tony Wilson would be daft enough to call it something else ;).

The bit that amused me most was that apparently, the Hacienda was opened in '1882' I knew Hooky, Barney, Steve, Gillian, Rob, Tony, etc were old, but that really IS ridiculous... :lol:
