What cheesy cover version would you really wish for Bernard or Hooky to do one day??

My vote would be Hooky to do a cover of Bee Gee's "You Should Be Dancin'" - complete with falsetto and chest wigs.....

Barney would have to cover Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On".

Or even better, Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse Of The Arse"

Could just picture Barney singing his dead pan Vegas ballroom show style to this, a long with Hooky riffing against a wall so as to not face his arch nemesis.

Every Second Counts (new lyrics)

Every penny counts when i am with you we use to own a club but didnt have a clue

i lost it long ago though i always let it show every penny counts when i am with you

every penny counts when i am with you even though youre skint im still skint too

the style you had on bass always stays in place every penny counts when i am with you

Fook me, you're right too..... I had this nagging feeling that I'd imagined that Hooky had done summat with it - hence my subconscious suggestion.

World in Roe-tion Touched by the hand of Cod Plaice Up PS Back on topic, why don't they try LWTUA? They certainly butchered the fuck out of it on the 05/06 tour. Then Electronic should get back together with Melanie C as backing vocalist.

Sorry to go off-thread but Bob Monkhouse was a great stand-up comedian. I hated him as much as anyone else, not least thanks to the comments I STILL get EVEN NOW, but watch his live stand-up recordings and when you've stopped laughing you'll have to agree he was truly special. Back on thread: Revenge did 'Amsterdam', 'Venus In Furs' and 'White Light / White Heat', maybe The Light could tackle some more vintage...

They seem to be copying Mr. Bowie's choice of covers which can only mean:

China Girl [Iggy Pop] Knock On Wood [Eddie Floyd] I Know It's Gonna Happen Someday [Morrissey] Nite Flights [Scott Walker]

at some point in the future...
