Watched this film last night starring Sam Riley as a 1960's gangster. Up pops the other Mr Curtis Sean Harris at the beginning of the film. The pair detest each other and Sam kills Sean underneath the pier.

Truly dreadful film.
I was so looking forward to that, especially cos they'd updated it to include the whole Mods vs Rockers thing (which actually only filled about 2mins of the film!). The story was all over the place. The Cafflick guilt thing might've worked back in the 30's/40's but already looked really dated in the 60's.
Shame really, cos it could've been so good.
Read recently that Sean Harris is a proper character actor, and on the set of one film where he played a racist he wouldn't even have lunch with any of the black actors, and actually made derisory comments to the white actors asking them why they were hanging around with the black actors!
Wonder what he did to get into the role of Curtis? 
Yes very disjointed ad forgettable. Good acting though. I never enjoy films set in the 60's. Hate the music and scene from that period. Glad and proud to be a 70's child growing up through the 80's. The best.
