I wanna go and would try and get tickets but its not good timing personally. So I hope they follow with a tour next year (probably bigger venues id imagine).

Imagine if NO and Stone Roses play glastonbury or V? That would give them a proper reason to slum it. wouldnt it?:confused2:

I'm gonna need to get some new garms first.

Silly me! First read that as grams.

And no, cba.

Yeah, grams too, natch.

Can't Be Arsed to dress up in traditional Cockney attire?*

Or Can't Be Arsed to attend.

(* you can still don your flat-cap instead, they're very popular with the yoot down here)

Attending, too much money, effort etc No-one to look after the whippet either

Better have a go by 9.15 at the latest surely, probably also a good idea to sign up in advance Ticketline Still can't decide whether to go or not

Definitely going if I can get tickets!

I'll be going IF i am able to get a ticket. Anticipating a stressful time around 9am tomorrow... Particularly as I will be at work and trying to get the tickets without arousing the attention of my boss :-)

This gig is being VERY widely promoted by ticket agencies. Think it is going to be a bit harder to get tix than Paris and Brussels!

Gonna do my best to get a couple of tickets...

I might just not go to bed to make sure

Then fall asleep at the keyboard at 8:55am

They'd better bloody play 5-8-6 and Age of Consent.

I'm off to bed...

Well that was easy - straight in for tkts.

Sorted - trip down south in December is on...

Not me it would seem. All gone.

yep went to seetickets for mine. 2 standing tickets purchased

I went to Gigantic. Tickets went on sale at 08.54. Thought I would be sorted. Went all the way through and it declined payment.

Then went on other sites and all had gone. Gutted.

If anyone has a Paris veteran (!) a spare ticket then I'll love you forever.................!

ticketline looks to still have tickets - and gone again - and back?!?!?

god feckin' damnit!!! got held up sorting something out at work, got to the websites a couple of minutes late and all the feckin' tickets are gone... feck, arse, arrrrrrggh1 if I wasn't at work, I'd be having a Cartman-like tantrum about now..... let's hope there's some bigger gigs next year (PROPER New Orde rgigs, not just festival appearances).

Me too

Cool - got mine at 9 easily from ticketline :)- sold out everywhere now though not surprisingly!!

bugger.

only 2 nights at the apollo will make up for this...

Tickets available now at VIAGOGO at various rip off prices from all the bastards who managed to get tix with no intention of ever going.

am fuming.

had 3 seats in average row on gigantic that went on sale before 9 then troxy came on line & got 3 in the front row. entered details for that & it went down. went back to gigantic & that went down as well!

then sold out everywhere.

but bit happier as kept retrying (wanted 3) nothing tried again at troxy site & managed to get two.

am in one of the booths, so guess i'm in which is a compensation, but have to let someone down now.

Used the Troxy countdown timer, called bang on time, got through and then the bloke told me to call back in 2 minutes when surprise, surprise all the ticket are gone. Now up on other sites at silly money. Not happy :-(

I think I got them, not sure?

Went on Ticketline, signed up yesterday, and went straight through to payment. I've got a confirmation number and everything. Then when I went to check on the number it's not there. I'm thinking it's too soon?

What's strange is my bank in Germany usually sends me to another screen, and it didn't this time.

It just seemed too easy. I had so many problems with tickets for Belgium, but I did finally get them from the waiting list.

This time it just seemed too easy...

kling - same happened for me but confirmation has just appeared in order tracking

Kept refreshing SEE TICKETS website. At 9am clicked BUY TICKETS, and chose two standing. By the time I had entered my card details, they were no longer available. HTF does it sell out in the time it takes to fill in your card details??!!! FFS I think I have managed to get circle seats, I guess thats better than nothing...

What a mess.

4 browswers open

Stargreen - available but by the time I clicked "Collect" to save me £6.25 sold out Ticketline went straight to seats in the balcony. No. SeeTickets managed to get standing, but with rip off fees, and the rest, the total was £9 over the face value. Scum.

Still, I'll be there.

Why can't they stagger these sales? Putting this on sale the same time as the RHCP go on sale is just silly. Everyone with cloth ears was buying their stadium rock tickets at the same time and swamping the internet with traffic.

Ticketline site is still saying "Please Try Later" but I presume its too late now..

order confirmed -looks good

:banghead: ticketline let me select a ticket and enter details and then told me there were none available, despite saying tickets were reserved for 7 minutes once selected... Anyone with spares?

Yay it just appeared in my email and on the site. I guess I'm going!

Well I must have got lucky - Ticketline let me select 2 standing just before 9 and confirmed immediately.

So me and my mate Jonny are going.

overjoyed. i got mine at 9 from troxy/ticketline :)

I've been busy all week and hadn't heard about this gig. :(

First I knew about it was when I got an email from a mate... saying he had bought me an early Christmas present - I am going! :)

That Ebay tout flogging standing tickets worth £40 for £150 Buy It Now each really is lower than vermin. Something should really be done about that sort of thing in law.

Commiserations to those who lost out, I'm sure in the coming days spares will be floating around in the usual circles. Realistically I could only stretch to the one Standing which I've just had e-mail confirmation of.

Best of luck to all still hunting for tix.

ANYBODY GOT SPARE 3 TICKETS, GUTTED. Went on aloud.com went through till then end then it crashed stating duplicate order tir again and same thing. Phone ticketline at 9am told me it was a minute to and put the phone down. miseed out!!!! aaarrrghhh.

Made it...Troxy site...Only 28 years since I first saw them, Tower Ballroom Edgbaston, Birmingham...

Don't you just hate the robbing gits on E-Bay??

Good luck and hope I see you all there

Anyone who's missed out - keep trying! Fortunately my year 10s are doing an assessment this lesson, so I've been sitting refreshing ticketline, seetickets, etc. for the last 45 minutes and have just managed to get a ticket through the Troxy/ticketline site... Restrcicted view seat, but better than nothing... :thumb:

FUCKING JOKE.

NONE OF THE CORBY ORDER HAVE TICKETS.

TO SAY I'M FUCKING ANNOYED.......AS FOR THESE CUNTS SELLING THEM FOR EXTROTIONATE PRICES, I'D LOVE 5 MINUTES IN A ROOM WITH THE BASTARDS.

I feel like buying these off this guy and then taking him to court under trades description and getting my money back after the gig!:

fookin crazy! i left the ticketline immediately as it was a mess and got 2 from seetickets.

i think bands are mis judging the market i know people who had similar experience for the cure at the albert hall selling out in 3 minutes and tickets on ebay for £800 within 30 seconds.

Why they could not have done a pre sale or let's be honest play a more suitable sized venue like the town and country club (now the forum) or roundhouse or hammersmith apollo??

Anyway perhaps this time i will say hi to the vikings from this board as should have introduced myself at most of the gigs over the last 6/7 years including New York but never got round to it!! (probably too scared !!)

Everyone with an Ebay user account just report the listing (link in the upper right corner) and we'll see if they can be bothered to take it down. If they get enough complaints then maybe... the shit thing is I don't think the guy is technically breaching any guidelines which is where Ebay's been lacking for years now. Morally, the guy's a snake.

Bad luck, Shug. Really do feel your pain, mate :(

I'm in (plus Greg) - Gigantic went on sale about 3 minutes before 9 - had all 4 ticketing websites open at the same time...

Luckily Gigantic got me the tickets, but why the fuck New Order chose such a small venue is beyond me?

I really hope so. Im also at a loss to why the small venues. I know when they played Brixton Academy in 2005, you couldnt give the tickets away (seriously i tried!) but a medium sized venue would have been better.

Things are looking up. Think my mate has a +1 on the guest list. Now, what WOULDN'T I do to be that +1......?!

Ugh, sorry to hear that everybody is having so much trouble with this. :( Web sales suck in my opinion-- they still charge you all of the handling fees and crap, but you don't have a live person on the other end who can put a hold on your seats while you finish the purchase.

I actually love the fact it's the small venues. It's special. Imho, Wolverhampton Civic 2006 was a much better gig than Wembley same year.

Gigantic tickets went on sale early, I assume all these agencies get a set amount so not sure why they did this? Must of known they would of sold out anyhow??

Do you think?

I'd have said Wembley was the standout gig on that tour cos of the leftfield setlist.

OK, so I just got in touch with my husband and he also got two tickets (we set it up to make sure we got tickets after the Brussels fiasco). I have two for standing, and he has two for Block B Row R. I can't find Row R on the seating plan?

I'd like to keep the best tickets, which I assume would be standing, but seeing as it is a small venue, I wouldn't mind sitting in a GOOD place as I'm old, lol. We have some friends here who want to go, but we get first choice on the tickets.

WT H is Row R?

Maybe they just misjudged the market for themselves spectacularly. When they were playing as BL they struggled to sell in tiny venues so perhaps they had no idea what the demand for tickets would be like as NO.

It's a statment of intent from them, innit.

Make it more of an 'event', build up a bit of the 'mystique' that JG and Ally were harping on about last week.

You can see why they've done it really. There's a lot more kudos in selling out a tiny leftfield venue and creating a 'buzz' than just doing a run of nights at Brixton Academy again (yawn).

Still a pain in the arse so many people don't appear to have tickets though.

Can't argue with that, re setlist. But I prefer smaller venues.

First post here...

Finally managed to get 2 standing tickets after frantically refreshing the Troxy site for like 4/5 minutes from 9am - there was nothing available - seats or standing.

As someone else mentioned, the standing tickets then became available. I'd been trying to get seats as I'm dragging the wife along, but now more than happy with standing!

Very saddened to hear what prices these are being sold at by the resellers, especially when long-term fans have been unable to get them at the official sites.
