Now, this is predictably odd. I also asked the online store the same question a few days ago, but got this contradictory response from them today:

Hello ,

Thank you for your email.

Unfortunately the digital downloads are the only the standard versions, not the extended tracks.

I hope this helps. If there is anything else I can assist you with please let me know.

Thanks,

Avril

Your Warner Music Customer Service Team"

I will reply and get them to double check...

That sounds like they're talking about the standalone digital download, not the extra digital download you get from ordering the vinyl box set.

5th and 6th December in Manchester or has someone cheekily (and very quickly) made this up in Photoshop or something?

No it looks like Manchester 5th & 6th Dec is a deffo [:)]

Manchester not liststed on the facebook announcement. Where did you get it?

Meanwhile it's: Brandon Flowers on Superheated Iggy Pop on Stray Dog (maybe it'll have some bite!) Elly/ La Roux doing BACKING VOCALS on Plastic, Tutti Frutti and People On The High Line.

That last one allays my fears of a 'Jetstream' collaboration for now!

Although each artist represents a different musical strand – punk, pop and stadium rock – they all have a connection to New Order: Brandon Flowers, who sings on Superheated, named the Killers after a fictitious band logo that featured in the video for the 2001 New Order single Crystal; Iggy Pop performed Joy Division’s Love Will Tear Us Apart at the Tibet House benefit in New York last year, and now features on the track Stray Dog; Jackson, who has previously toured with the group, provides backing vocals on Plastic, Tutti Frutti and People On The High Line.

Will definitely do Wolverhampton Civic (for the third time in 30 years) - cracking venue and just two short bus trips from beautiful Birmingham.

That is assuming that the shark bot doesn't hoover them all up by one minute past nine on Friday morning.

European dates as well

Manchester... More news to follow.

If I had more holiday left at work I'd try for the Paris show - I liked the Casino de Paris (went there for the Underworld gig in March), I thought it was better than the usual enormo domes or dodgy clubs that British bands play in on continental tours, and as I can't make the Brussels show I guess I'll have to make do with the Brixton show, but I was hoping they'd play somewhere a bit more inspiring, and the Monday night is going to be a pain as well.

Couldn't be better: one more music sample today, Iggy is participating on the new album and the band will play in Paris... when I'll be there! [:d]

Ian must be proud to see Bernard and Steve working with one of his biggest heroes. I'm very curious to hear the result of this partnership.

On Elly of La Roux doing backing vocals on "Plastic"... I was used to hear that song on You Tube without any female vocals and sincerely I don't think this piece needs a woman singing behind. [nonono]

So we'll have ginger nut from out of La Roux on three songs plus Brandon Foghorn and Iggy Pop.

I'm sure it'll be fine and I'll like it but I miss the days when New Order didnt feel the need to rope in a load of celebs on their records. I mean, Gillian can sing cant she? Why get in June Acklands daughter other than to raise a bit of profile?

Sorted - Wolverhampton Standing!

I read that the La Roux girl sings MAIN vocals for Tutti Frutti.

Im guessing NO like collaborating to keep things fresh or perhaps Barneys struggling with his vocal range more and voice sounds more whispy and cracked.

I don't mind if it means a solid decent album comes out of it.
