Tempation help

Can someone help with something that's been bugging me for over 30 years. On the 12inch version of Temptation, something is shouted during the long intro. My mates and I at the time thought it was "Dave", which I still hear to this day. Any thoughts?

You might be referring to the part where it's said Bernard had snow put down his shirt.
