Learning to get along with robots with 3D lasers has broadened the possibilities for putting New Order on a nearby mountain . Cheddar Gorge is perfect, but with Ian, Bernard ,Stephen, and Peter taking top spots ,it may be that Gillian , Phil, and Tom may have to be positioned along a lower canyon. So we are looking at various canyon locations in Utah. Of course other areas of UK may be ripe for a rennaissance of big sculpture. Perhaps Bernard and gang looking accross a chasm at Shakespeare, Newton, Brunel, and Bodicea. Or Nelson, Alfred the Great, , Richard Lionheart, and Liz Windsor-Battenberg. Or Burke, Kipling, Wodehouse, and Watt ,Dalton and Cavendish,Vaughan -Williams, Elgar, and Britten and Chewbacca, Gandalf , and Capability Brown. Lots of greats, but please not Sir Boy George, Sir George Michael, Sir Elton, or Sir Freddy Mercury. Please no, definitely no. But Pink Floyd and the original Stones are fine . No Beatles either, although Ringo is ok. Any suggestions?

Oh I drove through Cheddar Gorge just a few weeks ago. Strangely, it didn't cross my mind what New Order would look like chiselled into the rocks, Mount Rushmore style. How bizarre that it didn't occur to me.
