Pity I'm half married and you're half the world away really - we do seem to score quite highly on each other's preferred attributes list ! ;)

That is what color your eyes turn when you have spent 30 years in smoke filled bars - they kind of start turning grey and dull looking.
Originally posted by Benny's Cobweb Eyes > Originally posted by Al Jarvis Er, you do know where the Benny's Cobweb eyes quote originates from, don't you ... Miss Diane?
Features in Fall track "Who Makes The Nazis?" - This is an allusion to 'Crossroads'(first incarnation). In the late 70s and early 80s, one of the show's best known characters was Benny Hawkins (Paul Henry), a sort of gentle-giant simpleton figure who always wore a woolly hat. He was meant to be pathetic, and was regularly used as a punching-bag for fortune - he was illiterate, his girlfriend got killed off, a Mrs Prewitt made him sleep in a garden shed, and for a while he was blinded. When his eyes were being examined, he said to the doctor 'I can't see nothing, doctor... only cobwebs!'
You cut & pasting from fallnet again, Benny? This seems to be a post from 3 or 4 years back from fallnet's resident BDSM rubber fetishist, which may or may not be based on fact. I prefer the earlier interpretation that Benny is a reference to Abba's Benny Andersson; the cobweb eyes - lines showing his age. Taking the reference generally, Abba = pop music in general is over the hill, washed up, history. Whichever, still a great line from a great song.

eh....I have grey eyes...as does my father...
so pffffffffttttttttt!!!!!! :p
as for me...I prefer green eyes...with red hair...
or is it red eyes and green hair...
actually...as long as she has two eyes...
and there was that one girl, Shelly, the one who had one green eye and one brown eye...that was interesting...
Grey eyes, because I've dated a girl w/ brown eyes, one w/ green, and one with blue....so I've never met anyone quite like her before ;)

Again ? Yes this was taken from Fallnet, and the Crossroads interpretation makes more sense to me than the Abba one (though there is another song where he goes on about "Bjorn and Benny...Hi, I'm Benny")....
Well, I think I've only met one person who had close-to-gray eyes...and she was gorgeous. And since it is a rare (if not, almost non-existent?) eye color, I would go for gray. Although, I will easily go for green or blue eyes on a woman. :)

"Again" was really referring to the lyric quotes, dragnet graphic, etc. And nice to see them used here! The (other) Abba reference is in Second Dark Age, the Fiery Jack B-side.
