Got the call @ 2pm this afternoon. New Order - standing ticket - face value. Wahey! What a gig, reeled off the oldies, Love will tear us apart, TRANSMISSION (oh my god!), Atmosphere, Your silent face, Bizzare love triangle, True faith, Blue Monday. Classic New order, loads of mistakes, Barney still can't dance, loads of 'woos', usual suspects of Manc scallies, 30 odd year old seen it all befores, great atmosphere as well, at one point Barney apologised for the woos & whistles coz he 'was a bit excited'. I'd love to be going tomorrow as well but you can't have everything can you.
