I admit it's a bit slow, but it's not that annoying.. and well, we'll see how it goes.

It will now be my job to optimize everything to speed things up.. because the database server is now the same machine as the web server, so basically, the network traffic is no longer an issue...

Thanks to everyone for their generous contributions, now that I can actually access the managing part without a problem, you'll get your salvation status very soon...

IT's weird. At home I can access this site with no problem, but for some strange reason When I log on from work, it accesses the old server. I tried emptying the cache, throwing away the cookies, and it still does the same thing. I type in neworderonline.com, it says does not allow access to virtual directory, I use the temporary link, it says the page is under contruction. It does this in my explorer, netscape, opera, and safari browser. Weird.

So I have to wait till I get home to check out the site.

The ISP at work didn't update his DNS for a long time, you are using the correct url right? not a bookmark of the temporary URL on the other server which still works ;)

If it's a Mac, I can't help you, but sure thing, it's a DNS problem.. you can force the DNS servers to other ones...

As for the numeric IP, it's normal, as I won't be the only one on this server, the IP address is for the server, not the site, it was for the site but now it uses host headers to redirect to the right site.

nic - what's up - other people have changed them! I go into the avatar, download a new one, it says avaar updated, I click on the forums & post a message & it's still the old one!
