Sooner or later I'll have to live with the fact that "Get Ready" will never equal the chart/sales run of the last two LPs "Republic" and "Technique", so how about this thought ?: -

Release the long-mooted (but at the time of GR's release, unfinished) Chemical Brothers collaboration "Here To Stay" (right title??) as the next - stand-alone - single after the already scheduled "60mph". Then sit back and see if it is a success. If it does turn out to be a huge hit (due to both NO and Chemicals fans rushing out to buy it, or saturation airplay[ I wish!]) then those useless twats at WEA/London UK may be forced to cash in by re-releasing/re-packaging
"Get Ready" with this track - and maybe the other missing tracks including the much-discussed "Run This River Dry/Sabotage" tagged on to it [note that in the past, quite a few albums by big names have been reissued in this way] : maybe even then, shock, horror!, a double 12" vinyl version will at long last be cut to allow for these extra tracks, then the LP may yet soar back into the charts for a much-deserved second wind.....
A likely scenario? Well, like I said, we can always dream......

Well, apparently Close Range was supposed to be the Chemicals Collaboration. Or was it? Jeezus Christ...why are New Order always such perversely awkward little shits? Swopping their song titles around just to confuse the hell out of everybody all the time? Even when they inform the music press of their album releases they never ever tell us exactly the album track listing or anything helpful like that. Contrary bastards!!!!
