confusion !!!

hi, i´m a little bit confused with the songs "cries and whispers" and "mesh".

I have always thought, that "cries and whispers" is track 3 on "everything´s gone green" and track 5 on "new order 81-65" (mislabeled as "mesh"). The great Niagara Discgraphy says the same.

But in the retro booklet Stephen Morris says, that the Track on Retro ist the real "cries and whispers".

Til this day i thought "cries and whispers" is the rare track only on the old releases. But it is "mesh" that is rare.

Can anyone confirm Stephens writings in the retro booklet ?

Well, all I can say is that you can find Mesh at the canadian Factus 81-82 and Cries and Whispers at disc 2 of substance.According with Steve the names were changed.

Yes, but Stephen has also written that the names were changed in 1987 for the first time. isn´t right, we all know that.

The whole "Mesh" and "Cries and Whispers" controversy was started by George Bush Sr. in order to divert attention from a possible war with Iraq and a sinking economy.
