I had this on tape for the longest time - I'm involved in archiving my cassette collection to MiniDisc, and for the life of me couldn't find this song among my New Order records. But I registered here, found what I was looking for, and thought I'd post and say what a great band this has been over the years. Saw New Order at the Bismarck Theatre in Chicago in 1985 (I was still in high school!) - still remember the night (as well as the tech problems that stopped the show!). "Face Up" from Low Life, "Leave Me Alone" from Power..., "All Day Long" from Brotherhood... it's all good. Thanks to Bernard and company for being there/here.

All the best, Dan

p.s. are there any resources to find out what types of equipment the band used to play on? Specifically, what kinds of keyboards? I'm a drummer, but toying with the idea of getting into vintage synths (i.e., Fairlight CMI)

Hi Dan - welcome aboard, mate :)

You may find this thread about vintage synths from last week interesting.

In addition, The Other Two (Gill & Steve) interview from Future Music (a very good UK magazine about the increasing use of technology used in the music industry) hosted at "the other site" here is very interesting :)
