Heart and soul (guitar and synth parts)

so I'm doing this cover of H+S for the tribute (maybe this should be on one of the tribute forums). Anyway,I can play the drum part, the 6-string bass part and the synth bass part. I can probably figure out how to play the sort of floaty synth strings, but if anyone knows how I'd appreciate a pointer. I have chord blindness, so I'll never get the guitar part, so if any of you fiddly little wire players happen to know the chords, I'd be greatful to hear what they are. cheers guys.

That may be a decent plan. Although the state of play with mine is somethig like this..... I have a backing of drums and "organ" parts, it's exactly like the JD one, except the sounds are more modern, I want to give it the feel of a sort of 2k03 Kraftwerk track. I can play the bassline rather well, and have arranged to borrow a Shergold Modulator4 ( 4 string version of Hooky's JD 6-string) for the final take. And of the three songs I'm doing, this is the one I can sing best. It only leaves the guitar part (which I could ask some of my guitar playing mates to work out.....but they will laugh at barney SO hard it aint worth it), and that bizzarre trippy floaty flute thing the arp does ( actually I will aim for something more like the NO Reading98 sound). Doesn't leave a lot to do sadly. If there's anything you wanna do, I'm using Cubase-sx, though even if you don't have it we can always do it via top quality mp3's over email. I'll stick up a coupla bars of what I have some time tomorrow.

Ian's guitar part is just a D minor, then you release you finger from the E string.

Make sure you have decent reverb on it, some chorus, and i find it sounds better if you play with a coin - to get that vox phantom 'rattling gates' sound.
