The Best Of Bernard Sumner

We all know that New Order have had more compilations than most bands have studio albums, but here's a different twist--how about a best of Bernard Sumner, from New Order right through Electronic?

Most of my mates aren't sure how to get started with NO because of the mountain of available material, so I came up with an idea which London Records might want to take up in conjunction with Parlophone at some stage.

It's called Wait Till Tomorrow, and is a mainly pop format arranged to suit the casual listener. Opinions and ideas welcome...

Great idea Monsieur Round&Round, Some Distant Memory is a great title. I'll fiddle around with that...

If your using titles how about using a more positive title, like Get The Message or Make It Happen or Until The End Of time?

Idiot Country two? The original is far superior, in my opinion, and has all of the verses.

Thanks Drep....yeah personally I was voting for Digital Republic but unfortunately it was just edged out. Community's pretty good though, it's very New Orderish which I guess is the most important thing.

He's sung 'Magical Dream' live with 808 State as well, although the '90' track has a female vocalist.

Saw him do this at the first (I think they did 2 nights running?) G-Mex gig in March 1990.

Perhaps there's a bootleg somewhere?
