Apparently the band has recorded a 25min piece called "Ambient" for Saville's upcoming London exhibition.

According to 'the other site', it's only available at the event.

Anyone know anything more about this?

Good point George, if DC United cannot even make it to London from Ayres Rock, what is a relatively small distance these days, to pick up a genuine piece of New Order history - then really, can he be described as a true fan? - I very much doubt it.

But when it comes to hiring Police Academy videos, we all know who's first to the shop now don't we!

Hucklebuck if it's such a small world why haven't I seen you south of Wombat Creek for so long? Your racing emu has never run with the same vigour since you left.

Hum...

:wtf:

This is just a way to force hardcore fans into this exposition, isn't it? Not available elsewhere

Ah well, it sure will be an instrumental, but I'll be curious to hear that, a song with, of course, a Saville artwork!

I ploughed 700 dollars into that damn animal and never received a dime in return since it scuffed its tennis shoe on a pebble. The only thing it ever won was a race to the kitchen table, where vegetable bangers and chips (Alan's favourite) were served at almost every meal time; and believe me, I'm no slouch when bangers are served.

LWTUA ... that's a bit like bringing up the topic of rabbits at a fox meeting.

That was inevitably your undoing as a team. With the both of you bloated on junk food, pardon me for saying it, but you made a sorry sight trundling down those straights. Moreover, all of the other racing birds had 45kg jockeys on their backs. At 92kg, you were doing nothing for Alan's torque, nor his aerodynamics. You made a mockery of the entire carnival, ruffling quite a few feathers in the process.

well, excellent news! another Elegia! another Video586! i hope this time they use the 25 minutes to make a global composition instead of repeating the same thing again and again.

 hey, just came to my mind this idea. what would you think if their next album becomes a global ambient composition, with different parts but with a common motive? something like TalkTalk´s Spirit of Eden, for example. that would be something interesting!

Please let me know if you plan to get a copy. I live in Boston and don't have any plans to visit London soon ;)

Any help will be appreciated!

Seeing that you're nearest, you've been nominated to get our copies, I'll send you my postal address and a cheque in due course.

It would be nice (hint hint!) if someone running this site would acquire a copy and put it online for the listening pleasure of all those who are unable to attend the show.

I can't believe that they wont be selling this somewhere online or in the States....

If someone is going and could pick up an extra copy...I would be really grateful!

Good idea Hib-man! Let's organise a get together in conjunction with the show, I have been itching to visit London for the past months and this would make the perfect excuse. Then we can bring back as many copies as we want and send it to those deserving wrong continent born handicapped

I mean it! Who's game? We can all stay at Don's.

Someone should go to the expo, get some copies, and auction them to the members of this site; that person would make quite a bit of money. :\pimp:

Mmmmm, a 26 minute instrumental which was possibly recorded at the same time as Vietnam...one for enthusiasts only I would say.

I've been feeling that I owe you a favour ever since Mark Viduka waddled his fat arse from an off-side position, passed Oleg Looseknee and tickled the ball into the top of your net thus costing you the title and securing our safety at a stroke.

Have your address on file DC and will post off to you next week.

From the top page Saville exhibition news article I'm reading a lot into the phrase "soon after opening" for when we can get hold of this new track. I get the feeling New Order are going to play an old Factory trick back at Saville for all that artwork that turned up late over the years. I bet the music turns up in the last week before closing so I wouldn't go to the exhibition too early. It's their sense of humour, you know it's gonna happen.

The 25 min track might not even exist. A ruse to get more people thru their doors ;) Anyone remember Bar Cuba?!

Believe me JG, it was scant consolation that a couple of Aussies hammered the final nails in the Gooner coffin this year.

Cardiff mollified things a little, mind.

Thanks for your kind offer, email me for details whenever you procure the goods. Postal address has changed.
