Why do you log-on to NewOrderOnLine?

I come here because New Order are my favourite band, it's the best place to find out what's going on with them and the people here on the forum are really cool and friendly; there's none of the bitchiness you sometimes get on other boards. Long live NewOrderOnline! :D

i hang around here for a variety of reasons:

1. i always liked new order
2. i wanted to know more about new order
3. the people here are friendly and know a lot about new order
4. i have come to know, understand, and like new order more since having come here
5. my job can be VERY boring

This is the only place where my personal obsession with the music of Neworder (& Joy Division) pales by comparison & I seem a little less weird.

I log on because of the great loyalty card scheme - hasn't been widely publicised, but just mail the web masters for details

Coz it's good for a laugh, met some cool people as a result of it and it's a welcome distraction at work. But I don't get as much time to post anymore, which probably is a relief to most of you. CTB

let me clarify: there are some friendly people on here, and then there are some bitch-ass cunts with their heads up their asses. i won't name names, and don't you try to suggest that i am talking about any one person. though, i will say this is probably the only instance in my life where i blatantly ignore female genitalia. :D

i'd also like to make a critisizm of my own city: nice weather, but the average citizen is a douche-bag. so i guess you could say there is some relativity involved in determining the friendliness on this board.

I love New Order ( and all their bits!), but I don't really know anybody else - locally, either at work or play - who shares my obsession. On this site I can communicate with people who are equally obsessed; and knowledgable (mostly more than me) about NO. I also like writing/talking about music: years ago I used to run and write for a 'What's On' type mag in the Brighton (UK) area, and I've always liked putting down what I think about music/art blah, in words - what's nice about this is I get feedback/response, and I can give feedback and respond, to peeps from all over the world . This week I have been mostly logging on to NewOrderOnline message board to save myself from reading shit like the post listed below on a somewhat more protentious Joy Division site (no I'm not making this up) :- WHO HAS THE AUDACITY TO CALL JD, SONGS!!!???? IT`S LIKE COMPARING BEETHOVEN WITH HIP-HOP. WHAT IAN AND CO PRODUCED WAS IN MY OPINION, A CATHARTIC MYRIAD OF POETRY FUSED WITH A SYMPHONY OFMUSICALINSTRUMENTS, CONSTRUCTED IN SUCH A WAY AS TO TAKE THE LISTENER ON A FANTASTIC JOURNEY INTO A LABRYNTH OR OTHER WORLD?
