Hooky's first stab at being in a band without the rest of New Order. Regarded by most as a natural reaction to Barney's teaming up with Johnny Marr in Electronic and a longing simply to "gig", Hooky ironically had also approached Marr to form a band without knowing he had already committed to Electronic. (A Hook/Marr collaboration? Interesting concept.)
As a first single it's not one of my favourites. The synth stabs
sound very dated and the guitar playing sub-standard! Hooky was
obviously doing his best at the lyrics but they didn't really
flow. As he mentioned to the crowd at the Martin Hannett memorial "Cities In The Park" gig
"If anyone can think of seven reasons they're welcome in the backstage
afterwards, to tell them to us" 
It was more b-side
quality and definitely a track I skip on One True Passion
regularly. 5 out of 10 at most. Ironically one of the darker sounding b-sides to 7 Reasons "Jesus... I Love You"
despite the awful title demonstrated far more musical potential for the
band. I give that one 7 out of 10, a nice effort and the outro jam is pretty cool.

"It's good to feel young and gifted again...", I really like this, one of the best by Revenge... I like those outdated synths and the rhythm, it just feels like a strong song to me...
Jesus I Love You, another excellent song! What a great bass, and Hooky's vocal tune is amazing...
