Johnny Marr news

I found this in the Portland weekly paper the Willamette Weekly:

Two somewhat reputable sources have reported that Johnny Marr, former guitarist for the Smiths, is currently living in Southeast Portland and helping Isaac Brock with the next Modest Mouse album.

Never heard of Modest Mouse - should I have?

Yeah Modest Mouse is almost a good band.

They have a couple of songs getting a lot of airplay here in the states. I've heard them. I'm not too impressed.
