How much Revenge & Monaco was broadcast on TV?

I know I have a few things laying about the house on various videos....

Revenge interview on Transmission (BSkyB) 89/90 Revenge Interview on Rapido 89 Bleachman from CITP WDYWFM on TOTP, TFI WDYWFM & Cashmere from Reading 98

What else was broadcast? I would imagine Sweet Lips was on TOTP?

Any help would be greatfully received :shades:

Nae bother Rab :thumb:

This project will start when I get back from Madrid and Barca.

I have almost all the promo vids now, and a couple of things from TV. I will post everything I have at the weekend if I can be arsed :D

This project will not be done like the Electronic one.

More likely a vine where someone does a maximum of two copies and passes them onto the next to do two copies. I haven't decided yet.

If anyone thinks they can help with stuff send a mail to shugsludden@hotmail.com

Do not mail me saying you want a copy - they will be deleted.

I believe that there was also a promo video for "State Of Shock" (which appeared on the "Deadbeat" promo video) - can anyone confirm this?

Yup, also got the following Other Two promos:

You Can Fly Superhighways

And there's also a promo video for "Selfish", which can be viewed here

Oh, and on a related note, Cindy Crawford does some work-outs to "State of Shock" on her video, "Shape Your Body Workout" (which I haven't seen yet!)

Ian - The Rapido interview takes place on tour with Revenge & a cafe in Manchester if memory serves, whereas the Transmission interview is just Hooky and CJ with the 7 reasons promo.

Nick - you have to get me that Cindy Crawford material mate, for research purposes only you understand ;)

I might just have to do that, just so that we can add it to the video as an "extra" (and add that extra "something" to the collection)! :smoking:

It's out on DVD as well - might just have to buy it!

The Other Two plugged "Selfish" on MTV with an interview on location at the video shoot if memory serves me right. Alas I have no vid for this...

As for Revenge, footage of them at the Cities in the Park gig at Heaton Park, Manc in August 1991 was available on video for some years. I think they are performing "Pineapple Face" but I'm probably wrong (Hooky plays a synth drum kit and sings the line "I'm alive", any help?).

The video also includes Electronic performing "Feel Every Beat", and other acts inc. the Happy Mondays, Ruthless Rap Assasins and the Durutti Column.

I do have a copy on VCR but this is currently residing in the loft of my ex's!

"Bleachman", I believe (not having looked at a discog or my own vid)? Top video, wish that full gig releases of some of the artists on there would get released... :smoking:

My first trade was with Manuel. How are you Manuel? remember of me? (Brazil - Rio de Janeiro)

Shug i have the vhs with MOnaco live (3 songs) do you want it?

there should be a couple of monaco vids on that rage special new order did in 2002. diggy should have that.

strike that. it looks like you've already got those. i'll go back and check what else i have on vhs. i think there should be at least one more there somewhere. good pic but not in stereo as it was recorded on the old video.

strike that as well. there's nothing new side project wise on that tape. however, there's a nice BM 95 (mono) on there.

Hello, yes I remeber...Good old times! I was very active on trades back then. I think I can say I've been the "Mr Digital Mike" of the 90s. I still have to convert all my VHS tapes in DVD...So we can consider me like "Mr VHS Manuel" Anyway, Shug if you are planning a Monaco/Revenge DVD project I'll be happy to help.

Bye, Manuel

Sounds like Reading 98 you have there.....which I already have, but cheers for the offer amigo. I will speak to Nicos about the Brazilian interview you mention.

I am not doing the TV Appearances yet, I want to see how the Promo DVD turns out. Even though I have the original promo's for 7 Reasons / Jesus I Love You sent to me by Nickos Kingos, the sound is very low.....fuck knows why! Such is life though ;)

Have you got the sweetlips totps yet as i still can't find the bugger!!!!

I am currently going through all my videos Ian, I've been at it all week and I still have fucking loads to go through.....not to mention a box full of unmarked DVD's.

Hopefully it's on one of them :thumb:

Not on TV....................But..............

Ive got the entire Cities in the park Revenge set now converted from tape onto dvd.............however the sound is as per the gig and has not been mixed, hence theres a slant to a large amount of vocal and plenty of my bass..........i did mention it to James Nice that he could have a copy{in fact i think i sent it to him}to possibly try and mate up with his live gig soundtrack.

Cheers to all those who have helped contribute

Promo DVD is now complete, just waiting on my lazy arse designer pulling his finger out and completeing the cover :D

Massive thanks to Bris for CITP, this will be included on the TV Appearances DVD, which I am yet to start. As he mentions it's an unmixed copy and I don't have the technology to sync in a better quality version, but it's still a joy to behold and will have several of you licking yer lips.

News to follow soon.

Definitely Bleachman. Not so much a song as an excuse for Hooky to treat his bass like a dildo.
