Hi:

I found a compilation called "Life Without Post Modern." at a local record shop the other day. It has the Revenge cut "Pineappple Face" on it. Apparently, it's a promotional CD.

I don't see this in the discography section. Anyone associated with the site want a scan of the cover for the site? LMK.

I believe it's just a record company sampler with standard versions of the songs on it (also includes Happy Mondays/Jesus Jones)?

Yes, that's it. It has 18 tracks in total. Not sure if it's a record company sampler or not. It has tracks from several different companys: London/Polydor, Giant/WB, Epic, EMI, Sire/Reprise, A&M, Rykodisc, Elektra, Virgin, Mercury, Doctor Dream, SBK, Chrysalis, Columbia, Beggars Banquet/RCA, and Capitol.

Also, the blurb for Revenge inside is bizarre:

If the name Revenge suggest codpieces, guess again. Hard-core music with breathy vocals and a beat that'll pummel you right into the floor. "Pineapple Face" is serious stuff. With New Order's Peter Hook at the helm, though, would you expect any less? Didn't think so."

Oh, and to answer the first question -- not sure which version this is. Its simply "Pineapple Face" and is 4:11.
