Did the Mark Reeder Twist of Fate remxies ever see the light of day....I remember there being 'Leds twist again', 'Synth of Fate' and 'original bad it guitar' remixes being talked about.

tHIS WAS POSTED recently....
and this...
No Idea if this has been mentioned before. But Twist of Fate has been remixed.
No Fate Remix ["more like the original but with a DJ-friendly 4/4 beat"] No Fate Remix Radio Version Led's Twist Again Remix Synth of Fate Remix ["a synthpop DJ version similar in style to the Sink or Swim Waterwing Remix']
Sounds better than the original.

Physical release, please?
Digital only - iTunes, etc...

Weren't they available only to the UK and only as mp3s? A German site had them temporarily available as lossless, but that quickly disappeared for unknown reasons?
C'mon Bernard & co, if you're not going to release a CD (let alone vinyl), at least make it available to buy as a download in decent quality, and worldwide.
Same goes for Hooky's Freebass project, by the way. I still haven't managed to track down a copy of that album, although some say it's very good?

I torrented the Freebass one, lulz.
No idea about the Reeder Twist of Fate Remixes but you can buy the regular 2 track EP plus the Sink or Swim Remix bundle in full quality WAV format over at juno.co.uk. I downloaded 'em and burned my own CDr in just over 10 minutes. Sorted at full quality
you also get a large good quality JPEG of the artwork.
I'm not sure how International folk would get on with downloads from Juno but it definitely works inside the UK. As far as I'm aware the Reeder ToF Remixes have not been officially released in any shape or form.

I bought the Twist of Fate 2-track single fine via iTunes Australia, but had to get a bloke on here to provide the Sink or Swim remix bundle for me. Couldn't get that from my location.
Sigh.... Since the record labels involved have failed to make these available in any sort of format, it seems that dodgy sites have now started selling pirated "promo CD-Rs" of some of these tracks. Don't be fooled...
just to answer the queries. yes my ToF remixes will see the light of day. apparently, they are curently being mastered and are due for release in a few weeks as a digital bundle, together with a AK47 remix and a koishii & hush remix. the bundle will also include a brighty remix of posionous intent. i dont have an actual release date though, so please keep checking the BL website. only two of my remixes will appear in the bundle however, my leds twist again remix and my synth of fate remix. i know i cant please everyone, but i hope some of you at least, will like them. mark
Good news - I'll keep a look out for 'em! :)
Oh, btw, liked your interview in the recent Scream City mag. ![]()

Yup, I was one of the lucky 160 to grab it before it went - some very nice tracks on there (including yours, obviously!).

I think that Mr. Reeder has done some fantastic remixes for Twist of Fate, I like them a lot, just as much as your Sink or Swim remixes (which I loved). I really like how you keep the original essences of the songs but take them in a new, more Electro direction.
Good work, as always, Sir!
Cheers!
for those of you still interested, ive been told the ToF remixes bundle will be released very soon. i hope you will like them. mark

Any idea how soon? Are they only available as downloads?
I really love the mixes you have done. Its a shame you couldn't have done the whole Bad Lieutenant album. You put life into the songs, which before were dull and lifeless.
Fab work ![]()
apparently, the mixes are going to be available as an online bundle only it seems.
here are the tracks, so far (in no particular order)
hope you will like them

I made one of the official remixes (AK47) so, as a New Order fan i'm more than thrill! Been waiting for this release for a while now.
Hope you guys like it

Better late than never... Are they "iTunes only" for now, or is there a wav or flac option somewhere? I can't seem to find them at junodownload.

Only got them from iTunes as yet.I rather like these!![]()
Any chance these will be coming out as lossless WAV on Juno.co.uk? All the other Bad Loot digital releases have thus far. It would be pretty crap if this is the only bundle not to be.
Just checked Juno and they're not there.
Is there an audio version of the Sink or Swim Reeder Remix video that you can watch on the BL website - sounds like a nice edit of Mr Reeders Remixes?
This site claims to have the Twist of Fate remix bundle in mp3 (€9.99) or CD quality (€12.99):
http://www.qobuz.com/album/twist-of-fate-bad-lieutenant/0060252764504
Has anybody tried them? Is CD quality what it claims to be, i.e. 16 bit, 44.1 kHz uncompressed WAV, or FLAC?
Are they available outside of France?
The Sink or Swim bundle is there too, at only half the price (well, a more reasonable price I would say... 12.99 for a download EP is outrageous - still, it is impossible to find on CD, so...).
The site looks trustworthy enough but it seems you can't purchase if you're viewing outside of France itself (I tried). Licensing issues probably. Ironic really as BL are obviously a UK band.
I travel to France periodically. The next time I'm there I'll probably take the plunge and purchase these supposedly CD quality files. Has to be said that the Twist Of Fate Mixes didn't exactly set my world on fire - aside from Reeder's LED's Twist Again Remix which is nice - but I suppose if this is the only opportunity to own these in lossless it could be worth the money in the longer term.
In no rush to get them at present but will update when / if I do.
I bought the 3 BL bundles on QOBUZ. The files are available in WAV, WMA, FLAC and AIFF. The sound's quality is top!
Many thanks for the info. I doubt travelling to France would help, as I suspect a credit card registered to a French address will be required?

I don't know about the credit card. You could try Paypal (supported by qobuz).

Five Point One, ordered mine about a month ago and looking forward to receiving it.
For those wondering the DVD contains 2 Bad Lieutenant remixes in 5.1 format and the CDs have 4 BL remixes across them. If you prefer full quality (like me) instead of the lossy "digital bundles" as released by the band then this is a nice buy.
I believe the Sink Or Swim (Rettungsring Radio Remix/Edit) on the DVD+CD1 was never officially released before. It wasn't on the Sink Or Swim Remix Bundle released early last year anyway.

I received the box set yesterday. I will watch and listen next weekend.
I received mine today - number 0282. It's quite a cool looking package and nicely designed. I like how the data underside of the discs are black.
Ripped to PC and I'll be giving it a good listen over the weekend, after a quick run through there's some nice electro stuff on there besides BL.
EDIT: Marsheaux - So Far (Mark Reeder's So Close Remix) is a cool track ![]()
