new member profiles

I just want to make sure I'm not doing something wrong here:

I just joined two days ago and when I updated my profile, nothing appeared when I went to view it. Do new members need to ve verified or something before their profiles are able to be viewed? Or do we need to make a certain number of posts?

Also, when I joined it mentioned that I would not be added to the fan club. If thats the case, then how do I join the fan club if I want to?

Other than that, I *really* dig the whole layout of this site and can't wait to talk to other fans!

Not sure I'm following you...

When you joined, the option you had was to subscribe to the newsletter.

If you entered a profile, and the option to "publish it" is turned on (quite simple, go to "Members" then "Modify Profile"), it will show up.. if you see the data you entered, it's there, just not enabled.. if you don't see any data, sorry, it didn't work.
